As the sun set on the beautiful horizon, Willow couldn't even understand the definition calm in the moment. All she could think about was everything that was stressing her out; School, her family, boyfriend. The beautiful view helped her a little, as she started to notice its small intricacies, just as she did with everything else. The car came to a jolt as it pulled up towards a cozy brown house, her boyfriend Trey sitting right next to her. "You have to talk to me, yah know right?" She kept her stare to the window. "Willow. I know it was an uncomfortable moment, but I had to stand up for myself." " You should've let my mom say what she said. That's how she is. "If anything, you should've stood up for me!"
Trey was at his tipping point, having enough of Willow, leaving the car and walking into the house, slamming the door behind them. Willows eyes started to swell as she remembered the incident, in which her mom had called Trey some very hateful words, leaving him hurt, and Willow knew this, she jus didn't feel like she had the courage to stand up to her mother. She then started to reminisce on her mother, a woman who cared, maybe somewhat too much. Instantly, willows phone began ring, her looking down to see it was her mother. She picked up, knowing her mother was just trying to protect her. "Hello, Willow?" "Hey Mom." "How are you doing sweetie." "I'm doing good, thanks for calling."
Willow could feel the tension cutting threw. "Your okay, right sweetie? Trey didn't hurt you did he ?""Yes mom I'm fine. Jus because he's my exes cousin, does t make him my ex." "I'm telling you sweetie, I'm jus trying to protect you. Abusive traits ru/." Willow hung up angerly and left the car to the house, storming to the study of her and Treys house, wanting complete privacy. She opened her assignments and started to write, dosing into a world that was all her, she could be alone whenever she wanted , and bring them to her at the same flick of the wrist. All she wish she could do is get rid of the responsibilities, including the ones connected to her relationships in life. She fell into a doze, falling asleep slowly. She awoke to the sounds of sudden screaming, running out of the study to see Trey and Her mother arguing hysterically.
"I KNOW YOUR FAMILY AND I K OW YOUR COUSIN. I KNOW YOU TOO!" "WOMAN YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME!" The two screamed words of hate are each other , making Willows head swell, until she let her anger explode threw her. "BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP! NEITHER OF YOU RESPECT ME, OR EACH OTHER! EVERYTHING JUST STRESSES ME THE HELL OUT RIGHT NOW, ESPECIALLY YOU TWO!" The two of the looked up at her in disgust. " your not gonna stand up for me baby?" Trey made her enter into a different mode. "IF I COULD STOP TIME, ID BE RID OF EVERYTHING BOTHERING ME FOREVER.
Trey and Willows Mother stood with a look of shock, however this was no ordinary look. The look had almost seemed to have merged with their faces. "Mom? Trey?" They stood in in their same positions, speechless. Upon their faces were those same expressions. They wouldn't move. She went outside and opened her door and seen the leaves had stopped moving, floating upon the air. The cars had looked like they parked upon the road, but the drivers were obviously doing just that. Willow realized that time had stopped, and somehow, felt a strangely freeing sensation; Her mother couldn't bother her, her school couldn't bother her, Trey, couldn't bother her.
She took her bike from the garage and went on a ride to look around. She seen people stopped in midday, in the middle of a tedious action, dogs in the middle of chasing cats, birds trapped upon the sky, it gave her piece of mind, away from the things bothered her. She seen an someone attractive, your every day ladies man. She walked up to the still figure, giving him a kiss. Was it cheating? She really could've cared less in the moment. She went back to the house, got in her car , and rode into town, getting food from the restaurants, the customers and employees frozen in their once kinetic bodies. No one could bother her. She went to the stores, getting clothes she wanted, trying them on, but there was something that lingered in her mind. Her Mom, Trey, Her family.
She felt a piercing in her gut, reminding her of what she had did earlier, regretting it as she thought about Trey. She knew she should've stood up for him, and should've educated her mother on her ignorance. But it wasn't to late, she told herself. She got back in her car and drove back to her house, going back to Trey and her mother. "I WISH YOU BOTH BACK!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, but nothing happened. "IF I COULD START TIME, ID BRING EVERYONE BACK!" Nothing happened. Panic started to consume her chest. "Come back, please!" She screamed in agony, falling on Trey, wishing she could've stuck up for him, and looked at her mom with tears in her eyes , wishing she could've assured her of her daughters safety. Suddenly, a screen appeared before Willow, showing Trey and her mother. " Willow, MOVE!" Trey was panicking, and so was her mother. "PLEASE SWEETIE, MOVE! WHY HAVE YOU BEEN FROZEN FOR SO LONG!"
Willow brain almost left her head, as she had realized it had been her, stuck in time this whole time.Willow was looking for an escape, taking for granted the specialty of the bonds in her life. She wished to heavily that the world would freeze for her, but ended up frozen herself, trapped in between the place between reality and space, the Midnight Sphere.
