I walked in to chemistry class and sat down. Half the time I wasn't paying attention because I was thinking about what Kuroo said.

"L/N!, are you paying attention?'

"Depends, did it look like I was paying attention?". I said crossing my arms.

"Well no..."

"Then you have your answer" II said

She continued with the lesson until it was time for us to take the test.

~Time Skip~

The test was finished and it was time to go. I started to pack up my stuff until the teacher called me over to her desk.

"Yes ma'am?"

"L/N, you got a 74.68% on your test. Are you feeling ok because you always get straight A's".

Damn. Im down bad.

"I'm sorry... I think I'm just tired".

"Unfortunately, I can't let you retake it so all I can say is do better next time".  

"Yes ma'am". you say as you start to walk towards the sliding door.

"Oh wait L/N!" your teacher yells as she starts to walk towards you.

"Yea teach?"

"You still haven't chose what club you want to be in". she said picking up the club papers.

You see in middle school, I was the manager for the girls volleyball team. I had a lot of fun, but when it got close to the end of the year, I found out they were only getting close to me just so I can give them Kenma's number. So basically they just tried to use me. History can't repeat itself right? I guess I should try it again this year.

"Is there a manager spot open for the girls volleyball team?".

" No. Im afraid not, but there is a manager spot open for the boys volleyball team if that's okay".

EH? boys? um...I guess it wont be too different from the girls. Who knows, it might be pretty fun.

"Sure! that's fine with me!" 

"Ok. Be at the gym tomorrow after school okay?".

"Okay, thank you Sensei!"

You make your way towards the school entrance so you could start walking home. I wasn't lying when I said I was tired as HELL. I've been staying up all night trying to figure out what I want my new room to look like. I'm tired of the light blue walls with the same white trim. It's....kiddy.

"Hey, Y/N!" a male voice said.

"oh hey Kuroo".

"what's wrong?".

Damn. How could he tell something was wrong with me?

"oh, nothing. I'm fine..."

"what's with the lies y/n? you know you don't have to lie to me"

"School has been kicking my ass lately. Don't get me wrong I always have A's and B's but I let one little assignment fall and now I'm failing Chemistry. And on top of that I still need to redesign my room cause it's ugly. Sensei just told me that I got a C on my chemistry test. So yea, hit me with a freight train please".

"HA loser, I happen to be a chemistry god in this school.".

" Yea yea whatever Mr. Periodic table man. Second of all, I wasn't really paying attention when she was explaining the test so I got a little confused on what we were doing."

*Bzzz Bzzzz Bzzz Bzzzz*

Caller ID: 💙 M O M M A 💜 is calling...

"Hold up Kuroo, it's my mom" he nodded as I picked up my phone and answered it.

-Hello?-

-Lil girl, why aren't you home yet?- 

-Sorry I was talking to my friend and lost track of time- I said as I took a small glance at Kuroo.

-Well hurry up and get home. Dinner is almost ready and your brother Kenma is already here-

*That little shit left without me. I swear when I see him I'm gonna-*

-Y/N?-

-Oh, yea, sorry Momma. I'm on my way right know-

-Ok see you when you get home-

-Bye-

" Sorry Kuroo, but I have to go. See you tomorrow Mr. Periodic Table!" 

I rushed out of the school entrance before he could even respond.

Sorry I haven't been updating guys. School work as been kicking my ass. I also got grounded cause I missed an assignment so yea. Everything is fine now so imma try making another chapter on Saturday. If not, then definitely Sunday.
