I sighed to myself. I don't want to send this but... I need to. I'm conflicted. I reviewed my files and opened the one regarding Taehyung's plans and private life. I know, I shouldn't have done it but I still haven't sent it so... it's still fine. Hopefully.

I closed my laptop and stood up to find him. He should've been back for a few minutes but... is he even home?

I sighed once more. "Where is he?", I mutter a curse when I can't find my boyfriend anywhere. It's been an hour and somehow, the pain in my... you know... was kinda bearable now.

I froze when I realized something. Did he know? As if in cue to piss me off, dad called. Great. Such a great timing dad! And you really had to call?!

"Ne, appa?"

"Agent Mnemosyne.", his serious tone caught me off guard. Shit... another mission? Why am I so unfortunate?!

I gulped. "Yes, sir?"

"I'll send your coordinates, go now."

"Copy."

I heard him sigh on the other line. "Be careful."

This made me smile. "Thanks, dad."

Then I ended the call. Minutes later, after I suitef up, they gave me the coodrinates. It was towards a deserted house. Great. Another adventure in the darkness. It was in the near the forest and there wasn't much to this house.

"Where are you going, eonnie?"

I stopped on my tracks when I heard Umji's voice.

"Mommy, whaer?"

I looked at Hyeri who was shrugging as she ate her snacks. As I gave Umji a knowing look, she returned with a nod.

I sighed. "Mommy's going somewhere, baby."

"Whaer?", she asked with a cute shrug. She was so cute. Even if she can't pronounce other words, she was still understandable and she picks up words very easily.

I bent down to kiss her cheek. "I have to find daddy."

"Really?", her eyes brightened, "Find dada! Yay! Whaer?"

I chuckled. It was her second day here and she's quite socialized now. "Somewhere, baby."

"Arasseoyo, momma. Be careful.", she pouted.

I nodded as I pat her head. "Yes, baby. Bye."

I waved Umji, Yeji and Hyeri goodbye before going in my car and set it in Agent mode. Then I drove to the location. When I arrived, I was greeted by the chills from the look of the house. It looked haunted.

I sighed as I went out of the car.

When I entered the house, I was greeted by a punch in the face. What the fuck?! When I can clearly see who it was, there were a bunch of men waiting for me inside. It was dark but I can clearly see. I was trained like that.

"Who---?"

"Ah... Agent Mnemosyne.", the familiar figure of the man stood up and walked towards me. His steps didn't make any sound at all!

"What? Who are you?"

When the lights went back on, I was finally greeted by the familiar smirking face of a dangerous man.
