I thought I'd start this book off with a few prologues I wrote in the last few years. Keep in mind that these probably won't be very well written, since I am writing them as they appear to me. I hope you enjoy!

My head was spinning with thousands of different questions.
Why me?
I had pressed the button, and it had shown the answer. There was only 5 of us left, and I had been chosen.
My knees wobbled.
My steps were echoes in the night air.
There was only few more paths to follow. I could see the exit. The exit that only one of us would go through. Started with 22, now down to 5.
Death and Life were at war.
I felt the gun on the back of my head. I heard the cries of my friends. I heard the beating of my heart.
Someone pulled the trigger.
And in that moment, I knew Life was losing.
