I thought I'd start this book off with a few prologues I wrote in the last few years. Keep in mind that these probably won't be very well written, since I am writing them as they appear to me. I hope you enjoy!

                                                     *************************

My head was spinning with thousands of different questions.

Why me?

I had pressed the button, and it had shown the answer. There was only 5 of us left, and I had been chosen.

My knees wobbled.

My steps were echoes in the night air.

There was only few more paths to follow. I could see the exit. The exit that only one of us would go through. Started with 22, now down to 5.

Death and Life were at war.

I felt the gun on the back of my head. I heard the cries of my friends. I heard the beating of my heart.

Someone pulled the trigger.

And in that moment, I knew Life was losing.
