chapter 2 : today?

"HUH?!why didn't you tell me before?what am I to you ?hmm..am I just a 'friend' to you?---" Yada yada yada......and so on scarlett nagged. Scarlett's nagging was neverrrr ending , well only if once she get started. She doesn't like to nag or even agrue but at times she does and the person who has to listen just assumes that she is not going to stop. They're always well prepared! You know the proverb 'caution is better cure' so it's better not to speak in between or stop her otherwise you'll need CURE-
"Gurll , don't ya worry, I ain't going anywhere okkk? Imma join you real soon but ya know my dad, he's here for a short time. Now don't you get all worked up ay matey ! you get what am tryin' tellin' ya?" a soft but fierce voice with a Tennessee accent spoke through the phone who's voice seemed as convincing and subtle as it was. It was her bae Emma's reply to her non-stop chants."I know , I know but you were there from the past few years and now even thinking about shifting alone makes me hella nervous and sad at the same time!! Well its not that I don't know how! I have enough experience of shifting 'alone' as I am an only child but it's quite lonely and---"scarlett trying to make her understand was interrupted by her em." Wait a minute! Only child? As far as I know Mrs.Xavier told me about your brot---"em was interrupted again and scarlett in whispers shouted"tf em? I told you a thousand times not to mention 'him'?did I not?can you please stop! I already told you I don't wanna be in any connection with my so called brother ! She had to whisper because she couldn't have risked having her mom listened to those words..

"Ahh...alrighty my Sofie-efi...heheh*chuckles!!" in a teasing voice said em. "Hey! Don't say that name! It only belongs to my mom !! scarlett in a mischievous and calmed down tone !!!! The two amigos started thier long night chity-chats which continued till 5a.m in the morning and then those two civilized human beings turn into pigs and sleep like one- ;)))
"SOFIE!!! SOFIE!!! SCARLETT ?!! SCARLETT XAVIER !!!! U BETTER GET UP AT ONCE NOW ! AND YOU TOO EMMA DEAR, YOUR MOM MUST BE WORRIED !! EMMA? EM??!" a voice shouting but was like background music to scarlett and em !! It was Scarlett's mom ! Well it was music to them because this wasn't the first time you know! You do, right?! "Hey mom!! You know I love you the most in this world !" scarlett sounded cringey but she speaks gibberish in her sleep or half sleep you can say. "And I don't love you! my dear daughter who sounds like a drunkard!"her mom was pretty frustrated now. "Ahh....what is it? Who is it? Lemme sleep ok ? Today is Sunday , I know that. So please let me sleep mom!" Scarlett was now frustrated too. You can keep scarlett awake till morning too, it wouldn't affect her but her morning sleep is just something. On school days it's okay to shake and wake her up but on weekends, she has her rules.....
Till 'she' doesn't get up nobody literally nobody even enters her room!
"Scarlett Mc Ronald Xavier , you better get up while I am calling out for you nicely ! Did you forget that we have to catch the plane today evening ! As in 't-o-d-a-y' ! I already informed you a week ago but I know that you didn't even pack your own essentials so you better get up and start packing your stuff !!! We even have to visit your school for your trans certificate!!!!!! SOFIE!!" (*MC RONALD IS HER MIDDLE NAME BUT SHE HATES IT 'CAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE MC DONALD AND SHE WAS TEASED A LOT SO SHE HATES IT FOR ALL ENTERNITY*)so scarlett got up immediately after hearing that name but couldn't say anything 'cause ofcourse it was her mom who said she can't shout or something!! Her mom shouted and she did not sound as if she was joking ! " WAIT ! WHAT-- ! that day is today as in today- today!!! I have to meet so many people and I have so much stuff to pack AND most importantly I have to empty my school locker IT IS STUFFED 😭!!" Scarlett suddenly jumped on her bed with full goddamn consciousness and shouted as she realised how much she had to do and how many people she has to meet and greet ! Scarlett was really regretting wasting her whole week in this and that stuff and thingys and now she was hella busy at end time ! "Hmmmmmm......ahhhhh....what a beautiful morning ahhhhhh...*yawns
Hmm...I swear to god there is nothing better than mornings in your room. It really feels like either I'm in heaven or in a 5 star hotel ! Don't you agree ms.owner scarlett ? Huh?!*smiles and yawns !*"is this really a time for you to appreciate my room? Yea..well go ahead because you can get this feel only till today eve-
Emmmm!!!!!! I'm leaving TODAY !!" Scarlett in a really annoyed and worried and sad tone! " Sofie ,look I already told you in advance so now please be ready baby and we even have to drop by your school." her mom in a soft tone to console her.
"Yes mom. I am up . I'll wash up in 10 and I'll and come downstairs!"said scarlett in an upset tone and with a frowny face. Her all the happiness and that when she'll go to school , all the memories were going to attack her and she was going to miss everything and everyone terribly-
*Sighs
Scarlett gets dressed up and comes downstairs." You ready---?" Her mom's mouth was wide open she stopped talking and started staring !
" Umm....Sofie we going to school right? Why are you so dressed up ?" Her mom asking as she can't take her eyes off. Well scarlett was looking great and cool but it really wasn't a school outfit...like everyday she would just wear a pair of jeans and a simple top with a jacket to layer up and some sneakers and sports shoes. Well she isn't the high heels type ! But like on special occasion or something she might just wear a crop tee with party jacket and a just a change of sneakers!--
Well she is really fond of her hair and shoes !! That is what matters to her the most ;) - but today she ware a skirt with a cool black crop tee with knee length high boots and her half wavy natural hair sliding down her beautiful top's sleeves !and a side bag to go with it. She looked P-E-R-F-E-C-T ❤️!!!!!! But her mom was shocked to see her dress up or say doll up ! Well she does it but it was the first time for going to school ...the school didnt really matter that much . She looked cool in whatever she did or wear, she just have a special vibe. As she steps out she recieves a message from her class teacher that she was selected on the varsity squad on her mobile phone and that tomorrow she had her last audition and she would pretty much pass it because her principal put in a few good words for her. But today was the last day or say last few hours before she left .
