Hide And Seek

The encounter with Mr Azer was not the encounter I wanted with my future husband. But we get things when we are least expecting it. I have always looked forward to Christmas Vacation, but this year my siblings were so much pain in the ass that I just wanted to go back to LA. On the last day of my vacation, Abdullah Uncle came and talked to Baba Ma. And when he left he told me to give Mr. Azer a think and when I asked him to told me more about Mr Azer he said it's not his place. So I was just the clueless one in this whole thing.

"What is up with you today and why are you acting like you have to hide from someone?" Rebecca said leaning on her chair. I shook my head.

"what?" that was the only thing I said.

"I smell something fishy, but I have soo much to complete." Miller said from beside. I shook my head again.

"Nothing guys. I was in a hurry." I said and continued typing.

"Can any of you deliver this document on the Management department?" said Ms Castle from her desk. Everyone looked so deep into the work and I looked at mine, I think I can have some fresh air. There is no way I can ran into Mr. Azer in this work hour. So I took the document from Ms Castle.

The Management department was on the other side of the building so I walked to the lift and pressed the 9th floor. As it was descending the lift stopped at 14th floor and my worst nightmare became true. Mr Azer walked in and gave me a knowing nod.

"Assalamualikum, Ayeleen." he said in his heavy British accent.

"Walaikum Assalam, Mr Azer." I said and I started to sweat, we were only two people in the lift. What if someone see us? This is gonna be so embarrassing if I do not end up marrying this guy. Which I can see has a big chance.

"How are you?" Mr Azer said awkwardly.

"Good, you?" I said robotically. I was too concern about running into someone now.

"I'm good, Alhamdulillah." he said and he was about to say something when the lift stopped in the 9th floor.

"See ya around." I said as I started to walk out but Mr. Azer followed me out.  He looked unsure.

"Do you want to tell me anything? Like do I need to inform something to Ms Castle?" I said. Mr Azer shook his head.

"No, I was wondering if you would like to have lunch with me?" he said and my heart skipped a beat. It is all girls dream to be asked out by Mr. Azer. But the whole office seeing it and making my rest of the intern days teasing me about it? No!

"Um.. Don't you think if everyone see us having lunch in the canteen it's gonna be awkward?" I said. Mr Azer frowned and nodded.

"Yeah, so after office?" Mr Azer said. I guess I have to accept now. I nodded.

"Where?" I said as I so wanted escape from here. In this open hallway. Girls will kill me if they see their beloved Mr Azer is taking to an ugly non sexy girl.

"There is a place, Medieval Cafe....." he trailed but I stopped him.

"Okay, I mean I'll search it in the Google Maps and I really need to go now. See ya!" I said hurriedly as I almost ran away from him, because I saw a  guy coming towards us.

"Mr. Rickman!" I panted as I reached his assistant.

"He's in a meeting." said his assistant giving me dirty look. Normal

"Well, will you pass it to him and tell him that Ms. Castle from  Marketing  sent this?" I said and shoved it into his hand. He just watched me like an alien.
