Senior Year

Logan Sharpe  was a student at Cherry High School. He had been there since freshman year. Ever since basically the first day of high school, the nerd had a crush on the school's already pretty popular jock named Roman Prince, even if it had only been a week since school started.

Logan was basically the only kid at the high school that was comfortable with his sexuality, and even took pride in it and talked about it near classmates. Of course, that led to a bit of bullying, but Logan tried his best to bare it. Not many people cared or even knew the gay nerd and nobody payed attention to him, which made him get a lot less beatings since he was never in the spotlight.

Logan's appearence was quite... handsome? Even though the guy dressed in slightly "nerd"-ish clothes, he always made them a bit more stylish. He even sometimes put on makeup. Although it was just a bit subtle, so he could hide his imperfections a bit, put on a tiny bit of lipstick and fix up his eyebrows.

Honestly, if the man was't a gay man and didn't only talk about his studies, he would get some girls. Even if there were men that wanted to talk to him, they would be too scared to become a target of the bullies. Basically, Logan was a handsome yet lonely and slightly bullied male. He didn't even know why he ever thought having a crush on the most popular boy in school was a good idea.

While on the other hand... Roman prince  was the complete opposite of the guy that had a crush on him. The male was the best guy on his football team and would always crush his opponent without even having the need to try. He was quite impressive and he got quite a bit of money from doing all his football games, he even did some in different cities, and once even in a different state! He got a lot of money for that one, although it was super nerve wracking.

Roman was.. decent at school. He definitely wasn't perfect or a teacher's pet, but neither was he the worst student in his class. He was the average, but nobody really cared about his grades and only cared about his muscles and looks.

He obviously was also extremely handsome. He basically didn't even have to do anything, he only brushed out his hair during the morning and after school. He had so many girls head over heels for him, yet... he wasn't interested in any of them. Many of the people at the school thought Roman was just careful and didn't want anything to distract him from sports.

Or that was atleast what the students thought.

Actually, the popular and handsome Roman Prince was gay.

Of course, the popular boy hadn't told anybody. Not a single soul. He had friends, yes, but he was scared of the judgement. And he didn't want to lose his reputation either, since then he gets more money from his football games.

Honestly, he had always known he was definitely not straight. Ro had started to feel a weird feeling for a boy in his 3rd grade class. Obviously, he didn't know it was love, since the whole world only talked about heterosexual couples, and small kids never knew homosexual couples existed since everybody hid the knowledge of them existing from the children. As well as from the ads of shirtless men in their boxers.. God.. seeing that when he was about 13 or 14, for sure made him realize that he didn't like girls sexually or romantically.

Some girls in the high school even thought that Roman was a heartbreaker because of how many girls he had rejected in the past. Oh, only if the girls knew that Roman would never be interested in them. The jock knew that the few girl best friends that he had only wanted to become close, so Roman would eventually fall in love with them. Although, he didn't have the heart to ever tell the girls that he would never date them, so he simply kept being friends with those girls even if he knew their motives.

Prince genuinely didn't even know a Logan Sharpe existed until.. this year.

It was the start of the senior year for both of them and Logan knew this was his last year, so he finally had to shoot his shot or else he may lose the chance to never talk to Roman ever again in his life.

The nerd decided to go to the jock's locker after the classes had finally finished. He was glad they were only a few days into the new year at school, since maybe then Logan wouldn't seem as creepy by just wanting to become friends with Roman out of nowhere.

The jock arrived at his locker a few minutes later, lifting a brow as he saw the other waiting by his locker. Maybe he got the wrong locker number..?

"You waiting for somebody?"

The jock asked in a tone that intended that Lo was waiting for the wrong person. Oh shit, Roman seriously didn't think that Logan could be waiting for him. The smaller male chuckled and fixed up his hair, holding his backpack close to him.

"Ahah, yeah.. I'm waiting for you, actually."

The male let out an awkard giggle before adjusting his glasses.

Roman stared at the other's motion, grinning to himself a little as he opened his locker and started to put some stuff out and some stuff in. He actually liked how Logan was acting. The nerd had a.. cute nature. But he brushed that thought away, since he was talking and he obviously needed to focus to not look like a complete dunce.

The other put on a delighted but a bit shocked smile.

"Really..?"

Prince squinted his eyes at the other. He looked familar.. Like he would have seen him around the school.

"Oh.. You started the same time as me, right? You're a senior just like me."

Yet, Logan didn't look like one. He was skinny but hid his body from people by wearing slightly baggy clothes. He as well looked quite young. About 16 or 15. The nerd nodded slowly.

"Your name is.. ah.." He had to think for a few moments before finally remembering it. "Oh! Logan~!"

Roman said the name in a sing-song voice, which made Logan blush and make his heart melt completely. Wow.. His crush remembered his name and even said it in the most adorable voice? His day must be going well.

Logan tried to get rid of his blush before nodding with a grin.

"And you're Roman, but basically everybody knows that."

The boys both out a little chuckle. Roman shut his locker and put his bag on, but kept talking to Logan. He wasn't planning on leaving anyway. Talking to the nerd.. was surprisingly a lot more fun than he ever thought it would be.

"It's weird how I haven't seen you around, huh?"

Sharpe giggled awkwardly to himself and nodded. Ouch. They didn't, but.. he will change that this year! He promises himself.

"W-Well.." It was obvious Logan had become more nervous, but he tried to ignore it. "Maybe we could change that this year..?"
