LaMelo was planning on surprising y/n and their four kids today, considering he has been away for almost two weeks in (wherever he's playing at). As he a was waiting to board the airplane he got an audio message from his two year old daughter.

i miss you too baby, i have to go but i'll see you soon baby girl.

third person's pov

With that he heard his plane being called. As he boarded the plane with excitement he couldn't wait to see his children. When he got seated the pilot's voice billed the entire plane with information and things to not do. After the pilot's speech of safety they took off.

As soon as LaMelo stepped out the plane he got an Uber to take him home. Melo was ecstatic to finally see his family after a couple weeks. Once he saw is house in clear view he told the Uber to stop the car, he took out his bags and ran towards the house like a mad man. When he got to the front door he rang the doorbell and a few seconds later there he saw his wife y/n.

"Omg!" y/n said as she jumped into Melos arms.

"Hey baby." Melo said quietly.

"Hi, I missed you so much." y/n said sniffling.

"Baby, are you crying?" Melo asked with a concern look on his face.

"Yes, but they're happy tears. I missed you a lot." y/n said letting go from the hug.

"I missed you too baby." "Where are the kids?"

"They're outside swimming."

As soon as y/n said that he went outside to greet his kids.

"Hey kids."

"Dada!" His two year old said as she ran into his arms.

"Hi baby." He said as he hugged he back.

"Hey dad." Greeted his three boys.

"Get over here and give me a hug."

"Ah you're squeezing us to death!" His sons screamed

After all the greetings they decided they would swim and have a family barbecue. It was the little moments like this that y/n and Melo cherish forever.
