It's a nice day, and the scouts are training outside in the warm sun. Not all of them, however.
Eren sighed, wiping the sweat from his brow and leaning back on his haunches. He was in the middle of cleaning. Levi Heichou had ordered him to stay inside and clean while Hanji conjured up some more experiments. It was tiring to say the least.
So far, he'd dusted the whole castle twice, scrubbed every step in the castle three times over, swept every floor, mopped every floor, and was now scrubbing the walls.
The brunette had nothing against Levi, though. He respected the man, and he maybe had a bit of a crush on him as well... But that's not the point. Eren would never be mad at Heichou for making him clean. He was just mad at the cleaning.
"Stupid floor.." He mumbled to himself, picking up where he left off. He kept grumbling to himself, not noticing the door open.
"Why can't you just clean yourself? Or stay clean when someone cleans you? It's really not that hard..." He said, his voice echoing slightly. He frowned, pausing again to stretch out his back and arms. "Great, now I'm gonna be sore..."
"Your ass is gonna be sore too, if you don't finish."
Eren's cheeks went red and he turned to look at Levi. "Ah! Heichou, I'm sorry, I-"
Levi waved his hand at Eren's apology. "Just get it done, brat. I mean it about your ass, too." Eren swore he saw Levi's eyes glint and his lips turn up in the slightest, but it was probably just his imagination.
"Yes, Heichou." He said, turning back around and resuming his cleaning. He didn't notice Levi walking toward him until he whispered in his ear.
"If it's not up to my standards in an hour, you're going to get punished." Eren's cheeks burned with a blush and he nodded vigorusly. Levi chuckled.
"See you in an hour." Levi called back casually. Eren nodded, scrubbing the walls numbly.
Oh, he was going to be punished alright.
