As she went to stand, her legs collapsed beneath her, putting pressure on them send an unbearable pain through her frail body. Torn muscles fighting to cooperate, yet still failing.Bakugou sneered, "Pathetic" he spat. He felt no sympathy for her, he couldn't even if he tried.
She looked up at his tall figure, eyebrows furrowed as she were simply unable to do what he asked, frightened of any punishment he might give. But to her surprise, he only sighed and carried her in his arms, however, not sparing a moment to lift her body up delicately.
He carried her through the empty hallways, not once looking down at her, she felt herself falling in an out of death, the little life she had left trying not to drown into darkness. Her senses were greeted by warmth as they entered a living room, opening her eyes just enough to notice the roaring fire pit, angry enough to unleash any moment.
"Katsuki?" she slurred.
"Yes dear."
"The fire is too big...it will catch.."
He hummed in response, "I suppose, but how else will I fit your body in there."
Air retracted into her lungs, her heart began to race. No. He wouldn't. She couldn't even begin to think about the pain. The feeling of her skin slowly melting, cooking her until she's nothing but ash.
He placed her down on the sofa, sparing her a few more moments. They both sat in silence for a while as they both watched the fire, knowing this was the end if it, the end of tonight, the end of her.
"What happened?"
-
"Get up!" she chuckled, throwing a pillow at him. It was past noon now, it's unlike Bakugou to sleep in this late, but not when he's with her.
He groaned and grabbed her wrist, pulling her back into bed, "Shut up." he mumbled, falling in and out of sleep. Wrapping his arms around her, pressing his body against her's, feeling her warmth, his comfort in life.
"Idiot, we need to get up." she smiled, running her soft fingers through his bed hair.
He groaned once again, opening his eyes just enough to see her, a smile began to form on his lips. "Happy six months, dumbass."
She couldn't control her smile, it meant a lot to her that he remembered.
"Think I would forget?" he chuckled.
She shook her head, putting any doubts aside. It was just them, him and her. Lying together. It didn't matter to her how they spent today, as long as it was with him. He squeezed her, almost like he hasn't seen her for days, not letting go for anything. She was everything to him, anything or anyone else was insignificant, without her next to him, he was incomplete.
"Y/n."
"Yeah?"
He began trailing his hand against her face, observing each individual feature, admiring her perfection. He ran his thumb along her bottom lip, leaning in slowly and placing his lips on her's for a few seconds.
