She grabbed a chair, dragging it across the floor with a screech, and sat between you and Ryota. She spent the whole period talking to him and him alone and occasionally sliding you and Yumeko death glares.

Ever since (N/n) started crushing on Ryota, Mary has been getting in the way every step. She's getting on my nerves. Her fake smiles and laughs, her flirting, the fake she has been trying to kill (N/N). It's getting too much.

"So Ryota-San~ Would you like to go somewhere after school like a da—?"

"Oh would you look at that it's time to get to class! Come on Ryota and (N/N)! We don't want to be late to Mr.Suzumi's class!" I slammed my hands on the table, interrupting Mary's words. I gave (N/n) a look that told her to not question was about to happen, and she gave me a look of what seemed to be gratefulness.

Both Mary and Ryota were stunned, but Ryota quickly got up and stood next to me. "O-oh I'm well Bye Ryota-San! Bye Yumeko-Chan!" Her voice became quieter and quieter as I quickly pulled (N/N) and Ryota out of the mess hall and all the way down to the 3rd year dormitories.

I dropped both their hands and turned to them. Before I could speak, Ryota spoke up.

"What was that all about Yumeko-San?" He questioned, cocking his head to the side and giving me a 'What the hell?' kind of look.

"Yeah what was that Yumeko-San?" (N/n) agreed with Ryota, poking my chest teasingly with a smile on her face.

I smiled at her and put my hands up in a mock defeat, "Oh nothing don't worry about I just thought it was getting a little too crowded and noisy in the mess hall." I giggled and (N/n) laughed with me, I could tell she didn't really care that we left Mary back there.

Ryota stood there awkwardly, looking between me and (N/n) before he cleared his throat.

"Did you want to tell us something Yumeko-San?" He questioned, crossing his arms.

"Oh right! I was wondering if you wanted to have a hangout session afterschool? We can play card games, watch movies, have a sleepover!" I explained happily to both of them. (N/n) looked at me with twinkles in her eyes, smiling up at me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Ryota staring at (N/n) with a look of adoration and blushing cheeks.

I looked up at Ryota to look for his input, "Are you up for it Ryota?" I questioned, snapping him out of his dreamy eyes state.

"H-Huh? O-oh yeah! I'm down." He stuttered, scratching the back of his neck and shrugging. He turned to (N/n) with a hopeful smile, "What about you (N/n)?"

"Oh yeah! I'm down, I just gotta tell my sister Runa to tell—"

"Oh yeah! I'm down, I just gotta tell my sister Runa to tell—" You stopped in your tracks when you saw Yumeko and Ryota's astonished faces.

I cocked an eyebrow at them and placed a hand on my face, "What? Do I have something on my face?" You muttered, slightly embarrassed that it took you this long to realize something might've been on your face.

"Your sister is Runa Yomozuki?!" They gasped, "The student council member?!" They asked, looking at each other than back at you.

"Uh.. yes?" I answered, unsure of how to respond to such an outward response to your sister. You laughed awkwardly, "I-I thought you guys already knew?" You questioned.

"Well.. I suppose it does make sense.. same last name.. matching jackets.." Yumeko placed her finger on her chin, beginning to piece things together.

"Mhm mhm." I hummed, nodding along as both Ryota and Yumeko put 2 and 2 together.

Yumeko clicked her tongue, "Anyway, is it a yes to meeting after school?".

Me and Ryota hummed in agreement.

"So we'll meet outside the school gates right after last period okay?" I reassured.

"Sounds about right." Ryota put up a 2 thumbs up while (N/N) just nodded with a small smile.

"Alright then let's get to class, the bell is about to ring." I informed the two, beginning to walk off to class, gestured for them to follow.

I giggled mischievously to myself, this is one step closer to my best friends getting together.

The ship must sail!
