Chapter four

We arrived at DDdiner, we took a seat, then the waiter came to our table.
   "What can I get ya"She chews her gum disgustingly, she wore shorts and buttoned shirt but the first two buttons were unbuttoned, she really looks like a slut.
   "I'll have chicken wings and coke" Jason's says, nodding at me to give my order
   "Umm... I'll have a salad and vanilla shake" I answered. She nodded her head and left to bring our food
   For a moment it was quite and it felt awkward, it like we don't know what to say to each other, we were quiet until the waiter cane with our foods and left.
   "So, are you going to Veronica's party tomorrow"I finally say breaking the silence
  "Yeah, I am" He gulps down his coke
   "She invited me" I heard him choke on his coke, "Are you okay?"I asked concerned
   "Yeah I am" clearing his throat, "I'm just surprised she invited you"
   "Yeah, I was too" taking a sip of my shake
   "So? Are you going" he raises an eyebrow
   "Well, I was thinking we could both ditch the party to hang out, go on a date just have fun, we have not done that in a while" I laid my hands on his left hand that was on the table
   "That would be great" I smiled ear to ear, "but I can't".
   "Wh... Why not"I asked.
  "Veronica is dedicating her party to me, it for the team and I can blow the party" I was hurting as every word dropped from his mouth, I can't believe this, I always let it slide when he chooses his game over me but this time it Veronica. He touches me with his other hand but I only detached my hands from his.
   "Bella don't be like this" he says, I can sense annoyance in his tone, seriously I'm the one to feel that way not him.
   "Bella" he tries to reach for my hand but I stood up.
   "Where are you going" he asks
  "Home, I'm not in the mood to eat anymore"I say with a bit of hurt in them.
   "Let me take... "
   "No I'll take a cab,bye"I walked out of the diner as I felt a tear drop fall on left cheek.

I got home, went straight to my room and I couldn't stop the tears from falling, is it wrong to love someone, I can't believe Jason would do this to me. I heard my phone ring, I picked it up and saw the caller ID
   "Hey Kate" I answered weakly
What's wrong? She asked worriedly
  "I'm fine Kate"I sniff
  "No you are not, Is it Jason" I heard her say on the other line, she sounded angry, I kept mute
   "I knew it, when we get to school, I'm gonna beat his ass up, and steal his jersey from the locker room and hang it in the school door lobby so everyone..." I cut her off by laughing, "Kate you are really silly, you can't do that"
  "Watch me"Kate says sternly
   "No don't, it fine"calming her down
   "Bella! Dinner's ready" my mom called downstairs
"I gotta go Kate, I'll see you tomorrow"I hang up to go downstairs
   "Hey mom, smells delicious"I hummed
   "Thanks honey, do you mind setting the table"
  "Yeah" I got the utensils and set them on the table.
   "Are you okay?" My mom ask, putting the food on the dinning
   "Yeah I am" I smiled, sitting down
   "Doesn't seem like it" she sat, "what's wrong, no secrets remember"
   "Jason and I got in a fight" I blurted out, trying to control the tears from spilling out from my eyes
  "Oh! Honey, what happened"
   "Veronica happened"I gritted my teeth
   "Awww.... Don't mind her, she's just a bully" my mom patted me on my shoulder
    "Yeah a bully that has been taunting me since fourth grade" I buried my face with my palms.
   "Well, I think she want to make amends right?" My mom passes me the lasagna
    "I don't know, she gave me an invitation card to her party though" I collected the plate
   "See there you have it, it will be okay soon"
   I smiled at her,"well mom enough of Victoria" rolling my eyes, "I want to ask you something"
   "Yeah what is it?" My mom asks, slicing a part from her lasagna
    "What kind of accident did dad got into"
   Mrs montez froze immediately,her hands began to shake in fear.
   "Mom?what's wrong?" I asked worried
   "Why are you asking" she asked still frozen
  "Nothing.. I was ju..."
  "it was just an accident Bella" she said sternly
   "But..."
  "I'm not feeling too well, I'll head to my room"she stood up, washed her hands and headed to bed.
  I looked at her as she retreat to her room, with a confused look on my face, I ate my food.

  My whole body was covered in sweats, I began panting, as my heart began to beat faster. I heard the birds chirping, it was then I realized it morning. Touching my bed as I got out, I felt by duvet drenched with my sweats, I sigh, walking towards the mirror, my eyes had bags under them, my hair looked like it wasn't brushed for days, I headed to the bathroom to clean myself off. I combed my hair and put in a grey trousers with brown crop shirt and brown boots,added subtle makeup to hide the bags, I heard Kate horn from the windows, so I grabbed my phone, backpack and I went downstairs.
   "Hey honey" My mom called out from the window
   "Morning mom, I'll just take an apple, love you mom" I opened the door and entered Kate car.
   Bella's mom sighs as she watched Bella leave with Kate,
  "N-no don't leave me" Mrs Bella whimpers
   "I'm sorry, I won't be here to keep you and Bella safe" He strugglesbto breath
  "No no stay with me, help is coming" she clutches her hands on his chest hoping to stop the bleeding
   "It too late Alice"he held her hand. "Keep Bella safe, I'll always love you" he stops breathing
   Noooooooooooooooooo
Mrs montez breaks down after reminiscing the past.

    "Hey is it bad to have the same dream twice" I asked Kate, who was very focused at driving, Good
   "Bad like how" she still focused on the road but I saw her raise an eyebrow
   "I mean like an omen, bad omen or something, I don't know" I sigh, she finally breaks her sight from the road to face me
   "I don't think so, don't you remember that time when I had a dream about Shawn Mendes, we almost kissed twice!" She gestures her two fingers at me
   "Mine is totally different, I always get chased by something and always land myself in a room"
   "Well what's chasing you"
  "That it I don't know, I never get to see the thing face, I wake up when the door opens"
   "Maybe it a rat, or a cat" she teases, I rolled my eyes at her and told her to focus back onghe road, she laughed and nodded.
   Few minutes later, we arrived at the school parking and entered the school building, we walked straight to our lockers, been our lockers are actually beside each other
    "So are we still on for Veronica's party, or should we ditch"
   "No, we are going to the party, I want to know what Veronica is planning" I said sternly, she wouldn't just give an invitation card just like that, she's planning something, and if she wants me there I'll be there
    "Okay, we will dress up at your place then" she shrugs
  "Yeah"
The Bell rings so we jog to class
Unlucky for me, I gat science and guess who's my partner, Veronica, you guessed right.
    "Hi partner" she smiles at me when I took a seat beside her, I smiled weakly at her
   "Students, your experiment brochure is there, just follow the steps, work with your partner, I'll be watching" Mr Montgomery says, pointing at the papers on our lab desks
   "Should we start" she winks,
"Sure" I answered unsure about the whole facade playing around here.
   Working on the classwork wasn't hard, I'm not exactly good in science but I'm not entirely terrible but Veronica is, she mixed the chemicals easily, and not even a snarky comment from her at all, is she really turning to a new leaf
    "So I heard you and Jason broke up" yup I was wrong, she still hates me
     "No we didn't, who told you that" I whisper not wanting to get the teacher's attention.
    "Jason" she smirked. What the  hell
   "We didn't break up, Veronica, we just got in a little fight that all" I said in between gritted teeth's
    "Not what I heard" she flips her hair
   "I don't know what you are planning but I'm telling you it not gonna work"Raising my voice, that was actually a mistake because I actually got the teacher's attention, he gave me a frown, immediately I went back to my classwork
   "Don't dare me Bella" she whispers at me,pouring the chemicals.
  "Is that a threat" I stared at her in shock but she only smiled at me, I swear at that moment I felt like slapping her.

   "Hey, what's wrong, I've been calling you for awhile now" Kate rushes to me
    "Veronica just make me mad, she threatened me in science today" I said, it obvious I was still seething
    Kate widened her eyes,  "Seriously, do you still want to go that party"
    "Umm..."
  "We don't have to go"
   "No, we are going"I say sternly, leaving Kate behind
  Class went on and on, Jason tried to talk to me but I was still pisses at him, and to top it all for telling Veronica we broke up, through, she might be lying who cares, I'm still pissed
    Later, school was over, Kate and I got home, mom wasn't around, double night shift again
   "Score, there's macaroni in the fridge, I'll heat it up" Kate chirps
   "Okay" I laughed at her outburst
We finished eating and retreated to my room, Kate sat on the bed while I was showing her what to wear to Veronica's party
   "Bella, it a party not a wedding" Kate laughs at me when I showed her a purple ball gown with diamond adorned on the open neck
  I rolled my eyes at her
   "Why do you even want to dress up, let me guess it for Jason right?"
  I sigh and looked at her, "Yeah, I may be mad but i still love him"
    "Okay, I can't stop love" she sarcastically says, she stood up to grab, red romper with black jacket, and throws it at me.
   "This is better, casual and chic"
   "Thanks Kate, what would I do without you" I wink at her
    Easy, Nothing" she smirks.
  It was 7:30
   Kate and Bella were getting ready for the party, Bella wore the romper and black jacket with black heel boots, she curled her brown hair and added subtle makeup while Kate wore a black high waist jeans with black crop top and black boot, Stylish
She added subtle makeup too and tied her black hair, Kate is really beautiful, her round face and plump lips fit her perfectly
  "Are we ready" she smirks at me
  I smiled brightly.

Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Timeeeeeeeeeeee

   Trust me, a lot will happen in this party
