Chapter 30: Cut

Ty's POV

I knew it was time to cut Rochelle loose. It was long overdue. Think I'll just pay her off and send her on her way. I might fuck her one more time though. "I gotta stop thinking about her." 

I kissed Kiara and went downstairs. She was still asleep and I didn't want to wake her. I made breakfast but I didn't eat anything. I was too focused on how I was going to tell Rochelle she's fired. 

Alex was standing by my door waiting on me. " I don't wanna hear it bro. I left her in charge. Take it up with her. But I'm really about to let her go. You'll get to take back your position."  I said before he could get a word out.

"Finally. You came to your senses. Her ass fat and her smile is pretty. A recipe for disaster. She did great work in this short space of time though. You sure you want to let her go? I could use the help." Alex said while looking at me confused.

"Yeah. I think it's time. Amma go talk to her. I'll hit you later." I said before getting up and leaving.

Rochelle was in her office having breakfast. You can do this. I knocked on her door to make my presence known.

"Morning boss. I see you're back and ready for work today." She said.

I was speechless. "I, uh. Yeah. There isn't an easy way to do this but, Miss Blake I feel your services are no longer needed at this company. You have done a superb job while you were here but it's time for you to move on to bigger things."

We both were staring at each other, then she finally spoke. "Ahh. Wow. Okay Ty. I guess. Goodluck and goodbye." Rochelle packed her things and stormed out of the building.

I felt relieved. I just hope she doesn't start acting crazy.

It's time to plan my wedding. 

Kiara just called me and I told her about the wedding plans. She was so excited. We didn't even get to finish our conversation, she hung up after screaming "I love you" in my ear.

Shortly after I got a text from Rochelle. I didn't open it, I do not want to hear what she has to say. No one is going to ruin my day.

Two months went by smoothly, no problems. Wedding plans were coming along great. Sex with Kiara was great. We were happy. Work was going well.

We decided to get married during the Christmas season. The invites were sent out and we were satisfied. No drama, no hoes, it was all good.

"Babe, Rochelle messaged saying congrats on the wedding. Should we be worried? Cause she ain't gonna fuck up my day." Kiara said while handing me her phone.

I looked at the message, I thought it was just her trying to be cordial. So I left it.

It was now a few days before the wedding. Kiara had everything she needed. The venue was almost ready. My brother was here giving me a headache. I can't wait for him to leave.

Our families were staying in my house. So it was busy for the last few days. Kiara and I couldn't even have sex, someone always wanted something.

Two days later

My brother had a wild "bachelor" party going on tonight.  Kiara was having hers at some hotel. We're really doing this.

My night ended, everyone was a bit drunk except for my brother and his bodyguard. Everyone got back home safely, I called Kiara to make sure everything was on track.

The day is finally here. Everyone was up and about getting their final preparations done.

Everyone was at the venue already seated. I was dressed and heading to the venue. We were all in place when my brother told me something in my ear.

Rochelle was sitting in the back with a smile on her face.

"I can take care of it for you lil sis. I won't let her ruin it."  My brother said while signaling his bodyguard.

I told him I didn't want to make a scene. "I can't have Kiara worried about this bitch bro. Handle it after she goes outside. For now she's quiet, if she makes any wrong moves take her outside." I said softly.

Kiara's favorite song started playing. It's time. I have never seen her dress and when I saw her I froze. She was so pretty. Her dress was amazing. I had tears in my eyes.

Then Kiara stopped in her tracks. She was face to face with Rochelle.
