Chapter Seven

Sorry for not updating yesterday, I was taking a bit of a day off because I didnt go to sleep till 6am saturday night and I was really tired, I'll write more today !!

After I got home, I sat on my couch, and stared at my phone, an empty feeling weighing down on my shoulders that I couldn't seem to shake off. "Why was Aidan being so weird?" I kept wondering as I blankly watched tiktoks.

A few hours later, at 10 o' clock, I decided to go to bed, but no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't. All of the day's events rushing through my mind all at once, I remembered the way he looked at me, when he said I looked nice, when he offered to make a song with me sometime, when we danced and sang together like idiots! Everything flashed through my mind, and I couldn't help but notice the fluttery feeling that came with thinking bout him.

"I have a crush on Aidan Gallagher." I said out loud as I flopped onto my bed. 

Aidan's POV

I lay in bed that night, unable to sleep. I couldn't help but dwell on my earlier realisation, I liked y/n. She was just so perfect, how wouldn't I have developed feelings for her beyond friendship? I also remembered the promise I had made to her, I had told her I would get some sleep that night.

"I can't like her, she doesn't feel the same." I sighed as I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.

Your POV

I woke up the next morning to a text from Aidan, and I was actually nervous to open it. It's just like when I had those little crushes in high school. Hesitantly, I opened the message and what I read felt like a waterfall of relief washing over me:

Aidan: Hi y/n, I just wanted to apologise for how I acted yesterday, as you know I haven't been getting enough sleep and it really hit me. I shouldn't have taken it out on you though, I'm so sorry 🥺️

I felt really bad after reading his message, I wished there was a way I could help him.

Your text: Hey Aidan! That's okayy, I understand and I fully forgive you! I forgave you as soon as I got home hahaha 😌😉

Aidan: Thank you y/n, that really means alot

My heart skipped a beat when he said that, It felt so good to make him feel good, I wanted to make him feel good all the time.

I hopped out of the shower and saw that Aidan had posted on his instagram story, so I decided to check it out, it was a picture of his tv screen, he was watching Twilight, New Moon. I laughed knowing that I was the cause of that, my knowing being confirmed when I read the text he had put over the photo:
"Blame y/n! She watched the first one with me yesterday and now I need to know what happens!!" I giggled and sent him a quck DM

Your message: You're watching it without me!? 🥺️😾😾💔

Aidan: Sorryyy I didn't know you wanted to watch it with me!!

You: Of course I doooo💔

Aidan: I only just started it, come over and we can watch it!

You: Alrighty then! I'm omw 😼

I quickly threw on some grey sweatpants and a plain black tee and brushed my hair, then I grabbed my phone and ran next door.

"I'm here!!" I called out as I walked through the already open door.

"Y/n!" Aidan stood up from his seat on the couch and came to greet me, which was a bit odd considering I was about to sit next to him, on the couch, where he was originally sitting...👁👄👁...oh well.

"I've only watched like 20 minutes." He informed me. I just laughed and said

"It's alright, I've seen this movie enough times that I could probably quote it word for word." We both laughed as he resumed the movie.
