IV-Your the one who started ignoring me!

Violet's pov: I was getting ready for the gig at Jennas because she said she wanted to talk to me, so while I was picking out an outfit  she came out of the bathroom with her makeup done and sat beside me. "Vi.. so you know the way the rumor is going around" "Yeah , what about it?" I asked a bit confused, she sighed and said "Lady Bird started it" I froze ( Lady Bird my friend from English class and Kyles ex's girlfriend..) "Why would she do that?" I asked "I think she's not over him.." she said and I just went to the bathroom to get changed ,that gave me a lot to think about knowing that Lady Bird did that kind of hurt because I actually really liked her and she seemed very sweet, but clearly I was wrong. I never saw her as the type to go spread false rumors, I thought better off her. (*skip to them arriving at the gig*) Violets pov : We eventually arrived at the gig and once again nearly everyone one was there, Kyle was already on stage doing something with his guitar and we accidentally made eye contact he smiled at me but I just looked away. They started playing (play the song now) and I couldn't help but be proud of them they were so good , I was bobbing my head to the music when I saw that Lady Bird was giving me dirty looks- I was very confused on why she was acting like this. When the gig ended everyone started going to this after party that some guy from Xavier was having and  of course Jenna forced me to go with her because she didn't want to look like a"loner". Once we got there she left to go hookup with some guy so once again I was left alone and I had no idea what to do but as any smart girl would I went to get a bottle of some booze and pulled out my cigarette and went outside, except today it was very cold and I didn't bring a jacket (good one Vi) I was sitting and shivering around when mr Kyle came out and sat beside me and I lit his cigarette again ."We have got to stop meeting like this Ky" I said sarcastically and he chuckled and gave me his jacket which I gladly accepted and thanked him, we were having a really good time until he asked me why I  started ignoring him in freshmen year I didn't really know how to answer so I tried to change the subject but he wouldn't stop until he got the answer he wanted typical Kyle "I don't know I guess it happened " I finally said and he looked at me as if he saw something terrible "So it just happened? you started ignoring  me and ditched all of us because it "happened" he said slightly raising his voice "it's not as if you tried talking to me anyway" I replied angrily , I don't know if it was me talking or the alcohol that I consumed talking , "Your the one who started ignoring me!" he shouted and  I didn't know what to say so I just got up and went inside I didn't expect him to follow me but he did and grabbed my hand and pulled me into a room upstairs and locked the door and sat me down and asked me again "Vi honestly why did you start ignoring me then ...there had to be a reason?" he said in a calmer tone , I gulped and looked down how could I tell him that it was because of a stupid crush it was too embarrassing to admit , after a little bit of silence I decided on what I was going to say "I started ignoring you because... at the time I had a crush on you and you had a girlfriend and I didn't want to ruin it so I left ..I guess? I know how ridiculous but at the time it was the best choice I had" I said really quickly , he looked at me and giggled "You know I liked you at the time too he said " I looked at him in shock and after a little while we both started laughing , he grabbed my hand and asked "friends again?" "friends" I said with a smile and he pulled me into a hug he told he missed this and I agreed , I missed Kyle he was the person who made life a lot better.
