- Chapter 1 - Crash~Site

-Chapter 1-

-Aurora looks up and down the road, puts in her earphones and crosses when safe.-

-A red Maserati MC20COUPÉ speeds down Broadway.-

-On the phone to HR, the driver is unaware of what is going on in front of them. Looking up, they swerve the car out of the way, still hitting Aurora with quite a bit of force, but not as bad as what would have happened. The car crashes into a street lamp and even at first glance, you know the car is totaled.-

-The man gets out, furious, and starts screaming and yelling at her. He only then realises that she's hurt. He kneels down -

"Hey, you ok?", he says with very little care in his voice

- Aurora looks up-

" Who the hell do you think you are, you could've killed me!" Aurora screams, holding her head and waist. " Well, you shouldn't have walked out onto the road, should you. And don't act like you don't know who I am. Now, how much do you think this little incident has cost you?" The man says back with a smirk.

Aurora is in shock, forgetting about her pain, she stands up. " No, even though you do look familiar, I do not know who the hell you are. And how dare you try to use me for money, you hit ME!" She collapses back down in pain, wincing. Taking deep breaths, she gets back up, " Here are my contact details, now if you'll excuse me, I'll leave you with your mess. I have a job interview to get to, because SOME of us actually don't have the world laid at our feet."

The man is calm but internally he is on fire, who dare insult him like this? Who is this? Then it clicks...

" May I ask where you're going? For the interview of course. My people will need to know if you can pay back for this damage."

- The man smirks-

"HorizonReboot......don't you come following me! CREEP, I gave you my contact details, isn't that enough?!" She reluctantly replies.

The man's smirk doesn't fade. He makes a quick phone call and comes back to the cars remains.

" I'll let you go to your interview, because I'm so kind and-"

"Oh yeah, SO kind, aren't you?"

"Just go, i'll have someone clean this up."

Aurora rolls her eyes and mutters under her breath, " Of course you will..." thinking he doesnt hear, which he does despite her efforts.

She picks up her things and runs for the bus-
