"Don't you want to ask for that freshman's number too?" Bright asked and everyone turned to look at the direction he was pointing.
Arthit gritted his teeth when he saw that it was Kongpob, surrounded by a bunch of female seniors, smiling widely.
"Oh, seems like no need to ask, he is such a famous boy," Bright continued and Arthit glared at him. Arthit's eyes zeroed in the two notebooks being passed around.
"Kongpob, 0062," Arthit called out as the freshman passed their table. Kongpob stopped and nodded at his seniors.
"Why do you have two notebooks?" Arthit jerked his chin at the notebooks in his hands.
"It belongs to my friend."
"Your friend?" Arthit stood up and approached his fiance.
"Why don't you let your friend do it by himself?"
"You told us to gather signatures but you didn't say how."
"Did you get mine?"
"Not yet, P'."
"Give me your notebook." Kongpob handed over his notebook and Arthit flipped through it. He noticed the phone numbers scribbled among the signatures and almost crushed the notebook.
"You already got so many. Well... Can you help me something?" Arthit sat back on the bench, facing Kongpob.
"What's that?" Kongpob asked sceptically. Arthit was a bit disappointed. Kongpob used to do whatever he asked without question.
"Can you?" Arthit pushed.
"Yes, P'."
"Do you see that table in the back?" Kongpob turned to look at it for a moment before nodding.
"I saw it."
"Step on top and shout out loud three times that 'I like men'," Arthit smirked when Kongpob gritted his teeth. Outing his fiance is quite low of him but Kongpob had annoyed him once too many times. Kongpob glared at him and started walking to the table.
"Wait, not done yet," Arthit called him back. "After yelling you have to ask... Umm, how many?"
"Ten," Bright chimed in.
"Ten men that 'would you like to be my boyfriend'. Can you do that?" Arthit grinned widely.
"Why so quiet or you are too coward?" Arthit challenged the younger again and watched as he walked away. He didn't exactly expect Kongpob to do it, maybe he had underestimated his fiance.
"Be brave, man," Bright cheered and Arhit almost elbowed him on the face.
Kongpob stepped up onto the table, looking straight at Arthit and shouted at the top of his lungs. "I like P'Arthit! I like P'Arthit! I like P'Arthit!"
Arthit's jaw dropped open and he stood up in anger. "What the fuck?! I didn't tell you to say that!"
Kongpob jumped down and stalked back to Arthit. "You're a man. I don't like all men, just you. I don't want to lie."
Arthit sputtered. This boy was going to out both of them at this rate. "Kongpob!"
"Would you like to be my boyfriend, P'Arthit?" Kongpob asked him proudly and Arthit's mind simply blanked out.
"You need to ask ten men, N'Kongpob." Bright peeked out from behind Arthit cheerfully.
"Does asking P'Arthit ten times count, P'Bright?"
"Well, it's your funeral."
"P'Arthit-"
Arthit's brain finally rebooted and he shouted hastily. "Kongpob, 0062! Push up 100 times!"
"Yes, P'." Kongpob dropped his bag on the table and got into a push-up position. He looked up at Arthit with a beaming smile and Arthit almost took a step back. "P'?"
"What now?!"
"You haven't answered me. Would you like to be my boyfriend?"
"No way!" Arthit grabbed Kongpob's notebook and threw it in front of the freshman.
"I'm not signing this because you didn't do what I asked." Arthit crossed his arms and looked down at Kongpob.
"It's okay, P'Arthit. I'd rather have your signature on our wedding papers anyway."
"Kongpob!!!"
