Chapter 16~

Riddhima's POV:-

I entered in room which was given by him.

I sat on bed.

I-I am pregnant. Kabir's and my.....Baby.

This is what he wanted to tell me.That is why he took me at cliff but I destroyed everything.

A tear fell from my left eye.I placed hand on my tummy.

A little smile appeared in my face.

"I thought I-I lost everything but I was wrong.Now I have our baby"I felt like I was telling Kabir.

"Take care of yourself and our baby"This is what he wanted to say that day but I didn't understand.

I wiped my tears.

"Kabir,I will protect our baby.I promise you I will protect ou-r baby" My voice cracked in the end.

But first I have to hide it from Vansh.If he find out about our baby he will k-No No I won't let him do this.

I will do everything just for protecting our baby.

Suddenly My stomach growls.

"My baby is hungry"A rubbed my tummy.

"Let's go baby"I said standing.

I know if Vansh saw me at this time,he will definitely suspect because he knows that until he went out I never went to downstairs but right now my priority is my baby.

I went downstairs.Maid was looking little shocked after seeing me.

"Please give me something to eat. I'm hungry"I said sitting on the chair.

She kept looking at me like she is finding something.

I didn't look up.

"Don't you hear what she said"I heard Vansh's voice.

I shudder after hearing his tone.

Maid quickly went inside to bring food.

I can feel his gaze on me but I didn't dare to look at him.

Maid brought food and placed it in front of me.

I start eating but he kept looking at me.

When he will go from here.

"What doctor said"He asked so of sudden and choked.

"What happened. Oh shit"He said.

I start coughing.

"Water"He give me water quickly while rubbing my back.

I drink water and I felt relief.

"Are you okay"He asked still rubbing my back.

"You should take care of yourself, what if I wasn't here"He said.

I looked at him. These are the same words which Kabir used.

My eyes filled with water.

Riddhima Are you comparing Vansh with your Kabir.

Kabir was your love,your happiness and this man is devil and your pain.

I looked down.I don't want him to see my tears.

I quickly wiped tear when it was on edge of falling.

After a long pause, he again asked.

"What doctor said. What was happened to you"

I gulped in fear.

I can't tell him truth.

Before he could speak,I speak up.

"She said it is because of stress and I need to take rest"I lied.

I heard hummed in response.

"Then you should take rest.I don't want my love looking dull and unhappy"He said trying to touch of face but I backed off.

He patted my cheek and left.

Dull?

He want me because of my face and you compared him with Kabir.

And what he said about unhappiness?

How can I be happy when he is here.

In his presence happiness of mine is far away.

I sighed trying to forget Vansh for a minute and again start eating my food.

Author's POV:-

"This is strange, she never came downstairs before but today she came and before lunch"Vansh thought.

"She better don't hide anything"His thoughts were making him anxious.

"Sir so you like this deal" His secretary asked making him come out of his thoughts.

"Hmm.....I will think about it"He said leaving the conference room.

He entered in his cabin and called his secretary to send files in his office so he can read them and tell them about deal.

He was totally distracted in meeting that he knows nothing.

Secretary come in his cabin and give him files to read.

But again his suspension was not letting  him concentrate.

He closed the file and called the man who go with Riddhima in hospital.

"What doctor told you"Vansh asked him straight when that man picked his phone.

"Sir,doctor said it is nothing serious.If Ma'am will take rest she will be fine soon"He replied.

"Ok"With that he cut his call.

His doubt was clear and he felt satisfaction after thinking that Riddhima is not hiding anything from him.
