Tonight was the night. The night of 'dreams' and 'love'. And here I am, being stood-up. It was the 'Cupid's Bash' aka the valentines day dance, here I am, lonely. I'm y/n l/n, first year, 5'7". Tall right? I got stood up by some dude on the soccer team. And here I am, leaning on a wall, waiting for my best friend, Lev Haiba, to get over here so I'm not lonely.
"y/n!" speak of the devil, the tall, silver-haired boy walks over to me in a plain black tux and red tie. "Don't you look fabulous" I joked, running a hand through my h/l h/c hair. "Your dress looks amazing!" he almost shouted, I was a manager for the boys' volleyball team, sorta. I mainly just came to practices and passed out towels and water bottles and I sometimes when to practice matches. I could feel kuroo's smirk on the two of us from the bleachers.

"Thanks Lev" I blush slightly as he softly smiles at me. He then grabs my hand and starts bolting towards the door that leads outside. "gah! lev?!" I panic cause him pulling me was very sudden. "I have something I want to show you!" he looks back at me and grins. He pushes the door open and we walk outside onto the concrete steps as he sits down. I sit down next to him and slightly play with my hair. "So what did you wanna show me?" I ask him. He points at the moon. "Its really pretty right?" He asks me, I nod at him, kinda confused.
I blushed at what he said. Did he just indirectly call me pretty?! We heard a slow song start playing from inside, Lev stood up and stuck out his hand. I grabbed it and he pulled me up and walked out to the concrete ground to where we could still hear the music and started dancing. I danced with him. He muttered a tiny "sorry" whenever he stepped on my feet or messed up somewhere. He spun me a couple time under his arm, where my dress would flare out. Lev knew that my date stood me up, was he doing this just cause of that? or was he doing it for another reason? the reason I want. The slow song ended and the lights turned back on inside the gym, signifying the dance was over. I pulled away from lev and checked the time. 10:01pm. I didn't want the dance to end, tomorrow everything will be back to normal. I look up at lev who has red cheeks, probably from the cold.. or is he... I don't want the night to end. "Lev I like yo-" I get cut off by chapped, but soft, lips. I kiss him back as i put my arm around his neck. He eventually pulls away for air. "Be my girlfriend?" I nod "of course"
