walking into the studio to finish the last of their album, The Good Times and The Bad Ones. looking down at his phone running into someone causing papers to go flying.
"i'm so sorry." he says looking towards the girl he ran into and helping her pick up the pile of papers that were all over the floor. picking them up he stands up, putting his hand out for her to grab.
"here's your papers-"
"thank you." she said shyly turning on her heal to walking into her small office area.
the boy continued to walk towards his studio room, where the other four boys of his band were waiting for him. "took you long enough" one remarked as he sat down.
"i just ran into a girl literally ran into, but she was super pretty tho." zach told the group of boys.
"zach you have a girlfriend-"
"hey boys i'd like you to meet the newest assistant her at atlantic records." paul said gesturing towards the girl beside him. "this is rayleigh." zach made eye contact with her before looking away.
"tell them a little about yourself, they are here very frequently."
"um i'm 19, from texas. yeah thats like everything." she laughed awkwardly. zach's eyes went big.
"uh rayleigh can i talk to you outside?" nodding her head slightly the two walked out of the room.
"rayleigh perkins, why didn't you start off with that?" he smiled shrugging her shoulders.
"i don't know, i sort of thought maybe my best friend since i was 5 would recognize me but i guess things change when you get famous." rayleigh replied before letting out a laugh.
she opens her arms for him to hug her. "its been awhile zach."
"yeah maybe sometime we could hang out and catch up with each other." he said backing away from the hug.
"yeah, uh we should probably get back inside." she said walking towards the door to the boys studio.
"rayleigh i have some paperwork for you to read over." paul said as soon as she walked in there.
"okay yeah thats fine." she walked out to her office and starting to read the paperwork that was laid on her desk.
meanwhile in the studio the five boys were sitting on the couch waiting for the tech guy. "so you know rayleigh or something?" jack asked
"uh yeah you could say."
"how?"
"we were best friends for 10 years before i moved away." he said leaning back slightly. "she's the girl i ran into earlier."
"and you didn't recognize her?"
"no but in my defense, she lost a lot of weight and got hot since sophomore year." he pleaded
"still you were best friends for 10 years?!" corbyn said slightly shocked.
"yeah, i'm going to go talk to her. i'll be back in five minutes." he walked out and to her office area.
"can i help you?"
"well i'd like to hang out with this girl but she never gave me her new number."
"is that your way of asking for my number?" she asked smirking slightly and grabbing a piece of paper and a pen and writing it down. "if yes, here you go."
he took it, "it looks like you're busy so i'll let you continue to work. i'll text you later." he said with a wink making her chuckle a bit before he walked out.
rayleigh finished the paperwork she had to do before pulling her phone out and going on instagram.
