"Tonight is the night I die"

Waiting at the park bench, D looked up to see Emerson, Remington, and Sebastian walking up to him in all historic vampiric era-style clothes. Remington with his blonde hair hanging off his shoulders, Emerson without his hat which showed as a shocker, and Sebastian just being Sebastian.

Remington sighed, sitting next to him. "How long have you been here?" He let his head rest on his shoulders. The other two could tell that D had become visibly upset.

"Almost 2 hours, why you ask?" He glanced up at them, anger on Remington's face, concern on Emerson's, and dad mode activated on Sebastian's.

"Andy hasn't shown up yet?" Emerson squatted down in front of him, holding his freezing cold hands in his. He sighed, shaking his head.

"I thought about heading back to the house, but since you guys are here, could I stay over for a day or two?" D asked, picking up his skateboard and followed the three.

His ringtone, being Perfect Weapon, played. The caller ID popped up as Andy. He let out a low sigh, pushing the decline call button.

Reaching the house, all 4 of them went different ways. Remington and D went to the recording studio, Emerson went to change his clothes and clean up, along with Sebastian.

Once they reached the recording studio, D did a cover of Rookie. He hit the high notes, his voice being raspy, still having that teenage edge to it. He didn't hear Emerson and Sebastian come into the room while he put his heart and soul into the cover.

The way he directed it, feelings of sadness, anger, and betrayal fit in the lyrics. Glancing over, Remington stayed focus on D, Emerson, and Sebastian muttering to each other.

"It looks like Remington is proud yet he also wants to kill Andy for leaving D." Sebastian glanced at the two both chatting.

"Agreed. Besides, right now, Remington's taking him under his wings and helping him trying to find a song to help him that would match his voice." Emerson saw Remington get quite friendly with D, giving him pointers.

The soundtrack for Paradise City started playing, and Remington started for the first part of the song. D came in with his voice, allowing the song to flow through his body letting him get into the flow of it. Both of their voices paired with each other well, blending smoothly.

After the song ended, they tweeted the covers on Twitter and waited a few hours.

"Hey, Remi, race ya to the skate park nearby?" D asked, picking up his skateboard.

"Oh, your on." Remington grabbed The Bastards skateboard booking it out the door.

They raced to the skate park, Remington having longer legs and being able to get there faster.

D skated in, chuckling at Remington laying on the bench. He glanced at the tattoos littering his arms, seeing that he had none.

Raising an eyebrow, Remington pulled his shirt off and skated on the ramps, seeing D at the top of the ramp. He moved out of the way when D skated down the ramp.

"Given up?" D chuckled, grabbing Remington's skateboard and skating away on it. He watched him look around confusion before skating faster.

"No, but I can do this." He grabbed D by the arm and pulled him off the skateboard into his arms. His eyes longing glanced into D's thinking of how fucked up of a guy Andy had been for leaving D at the skatepark.

The skateboards rolled slowly back and forth, giving Remington the distraction to kiss D. On doing so, he noticed how nervous he had become, so he put his chin on his head, petting his hair.

"I don't know what got into Andy to see that you're a great guy. He doesn't understand that you're special to him." He softly spoke, before holding D's hand and they skated back home.

Reaching the sidewalk, both of the boys picked up their skateboards, heading into the garage after Remington put in the pin code. They set the skateboards on the rack, pulling their shoes off and heading inside.

"We're home you crazy fucks!" Remington shouted. Sebastian had been cooking in the kitchen, Emerson working on drawings. They peered around the corner. "Looks like the lovebirds are back. How did the skatepark go?" Emerson asked them, while Remington slipped into a t-shirt. "It went alright, quiet and peaceful besides some children who were there on scooters." D nodded, before pulling his shoes off and splayed backward onto the couch.

"Since when did you two become so lovey-dovey?" Sebastian came in holding a bowl of flour, seeing how close the two had become.

"We're just being really close friends, that's all." Remington retorted, glaring at the bowl of flour that stayed in Sebastian's hands.

Emerson knew that Remington wouldn't give D back, even if his life depended on it. Remington to D became the mother hen that looked out for their children and made sure that they were careful.

But one thing still stuck to Emerson's mind. What the hell is D's full name? He had heard it once, but it never fully sunk in. He didn't want to pressure him, knowing full well that Andy would be calling in a day or so to ask where the hell he had been.

Glancing onto the table, D had left his phone on the table. He knew that he shouldn't look, but worrying got the best of him. He put in a pin, being Andy's birthday and the phone opened up.

"What the fuck..?" He looked at his text messages.

666 unopened text messages

Sighing, he opened them. Most of them were unopened the day after D had gone to the skatepark. He studied each one, pulling his hat off.

"Hello? No, it's Emerson. He's in the shower right now. Want me to tell him to call you back? Okay, bye."  Hanging up, Emerson got up and went to the kitchen, where Sebastian had been doing dishes.

"Guess who just called." Emerson sat down at the counter, sighing.

"Who?" Sebastian never looked up from washing the dishes.

"Andy. He called wondering where D had been since he never texted him back." He chuckled slightly

"If I were Andy, I'd be trying to fix everything that I did wrong, but I trust Remington to take care of him and not let anything happen."

"I heard my name?" Remington came into the kitchen, leaning against the wall, a sleepy D at his hip.

"I also heard that Andy tried calling when D had fallen asleep." He wrapped an arm around D to hold him up without him falling.

"Oh, I told him that he had been taking a shower." Emerson got up, getting out 3 glasses. He gave Remington a red monster, poured Sebastian wine, and himself a mixed drink called 'Drunken Pirate.'

With having a 19-year-old in the house, they tried to cut back on heavy drinking, but D didn't care. He had hung around CC and Ash who would get wasted almost every day. Petting D's hair, Remington gritted his teeth knowing that Andy had called asking where D had been.

He knew what Andy had done showed his fucked up demeanor. Knowing that Andy would b =e on the set for Paradise City, he would ask D to go with him to go watch and surprise him.
