No Way.

Grace's POV:

"Spence, you ready?" I asked, stepping up the steps of the jet.

"I guess." he shrugged, looking behind him.

"Come on you big baby." I giggled, pulling him up the steps behind me.

As always, Spencer came and sat down next to me before the jet took off. Of course, he pulled out a book as I peered out the window, grabbing my cell to call Garcia.

"Hey buttercup!" she answered cheerfully.

"Hey baby girl, we're on our way back now."

"Ah! Yes! Come to my office when you get back."

"I will, see you in a bit."

"Bye love." I hung up the phone, sliding it back into my pocket.

With his head buried in his book, I didn't bother to interrupt Spencer as he read, yet just rested my head on his shoulder which he didn't mind.

"What was that for?" I asked after Spencer kissed my forehead randomly.

"You reminded my of the girl in my book." he smiled, resuming his reading.

The ride home was nothing special. The rest of the team sat and played cards as they usually did, over a few glasses of whiskey every once in awhile.

Meanwhile, I fell asleep as Spencer read. It was weird, recently, it seemed as if I couldn't get enough sleep. Every chance I had, I fell asleep, which was usually on Spencer's shoulder.

At least he was comfortable.

**

"Where are you going?" Spencer spoke up as I sat down my bag atop my desk, walking to Garcia's office.

"Oh, I was just going to see Garcia and talk with her." I spun around to face him.

"I'll wait for you, and I guess get started on the case report." he grabbed his bag off his desk.

"Sounds good. " I smiled, giving him a side squeeze before scurrying down the hall to Garcia's office.

"Yo, what's up baby girl?" I mimicked Morgan as I burst in the door, nearly making her jump from her chair.

"Goodness Grace! You almost killed me!" she spun around in her chair as I sat down next to her.

"What's up buttercup?" I asked, spinning in the chair, getting dizzy.

"Well, I have to admit something that I think you'll kill me for." Garcia began, as I immeditaly stopped.

"Go on."

"Are you and Spencer-"

"No, and no."

Wait a damn minute-

Was I supposed to be more than friends with Spencer?

Is that how everyone in the office saw us?

Friends dying to be lovers?

"Okay, I just wanted to make sure because, well, you know-"

"Garcia, I'm not anything with Spencer. He's just my best friend." I leaned back in the chair.

"Gotcha." she nodded, the odd tension growing strong between us.

I continued on about the case, how I bunked with Spencer, woke him up, running to the car in the rain, and falling asleep on his shoulder many many times.
