Chapter 40 - the gender reveal

It had been 2 months since we arrived back in Belfast after being on the road for 6 long months of ups and downs and the most exciting thing is I'm now 3 months pregnant!! And we were finding out the gender today and having everyone around later to reveal it. I was up getting ready to go collect the balloons as we had the doctors appointment a few days before and the baby was very healthy which is what we wanted!! when Andy came into the room

Andy - "hey you"
"Hey you okay"
Andy - "yes I'm just really excited to see if we're having a prince or princess today"
"Me too I can't wait we should head to get the balloons as everyone will be arriving soon"
Andy - "lets go"

We headed downstairs where ange was pacing she was so excited you would think she was the one carrying the baby not me hahaha She stopped pacing when she seen us

Ange - "will you two hurry up and go already your families will be here in half an hour!!"
"Okay we're going"

We arrived back 20 minutes later and We headed up stairs to get ready i picked out a pink dress and a blue jacket to go with the theme of the gender reveal Andy was wearing a pink top and blue jeans we both were on team pink while ange wanted a boy I stood in front of a long mirror while Andy stood behind me and placed his hands on the bump making small circles with his thumbs

Andy- "you look so beautiful I love u so much and I so glad we are going to be a proper family"
"I love you I can't wait to see what we're having our wee family is finally complete"

We heard ange shouting for us so we knew it was time we headed downstairs and out the back where our families were all waiting patiently for us the music started and it was then time for us to pop the balloon we were so nervous as any parents would be!! We were so happy when we seen IT WAS A GIRL we both screamed in excitement and our families were thrilled. Me and Andy hug while he kept whispering i love u in my ear soon enough ange and ash came over and hug us and congratulated us on having a girl.

Ange-  "omg can't believe u going to have a girl that so sweet I cant wait to see her"
"thank u so much I can't wait either baby A is going to be spoilt"

our families all left not long later and me Andy Ange and Ash decided to sit and watch movies they were staying with us to help with the baby when she arrived in 6 more months time.
