I took a shower, changed into a decent outfit which was a pair of shorts and a crop top.
I blowdried my hair, applied some serum to it then applied some cream to my face.
I wore my shoes then left the house after telling my mom that I am leaving definitely.
Skylar's POV earlier that day:
I reached the adoption center then went to the common rooms. I stay with 6 girls in the same room.
I placed my bag on my bed, then one of the workers at the adoption center called Mariam came into our room and announced that lunch will be served in 5 minutes.
So I waited for the other girls to leave because I like being alone. Then I took a shower and changed into the outfit below.
