"Y/N, what's wrong? You've been picking at your meal for fifteen minutes straight." Gwen asks. "I think I'm going back to the Mansion today." I say. "That horror attraction up on the hill?" AJ asks. "Yeah. I have something I need to do. Don't worry about me okay? I can fend for myself." I sigh.

I head outside and head up to the Mansion. I enter, when I hear a lame voice say, "Welcome to Spooky's House of Jump Scares." I sigh, giving a witty response, "I thought it was Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion." There's a void of silence that follows, so I sit on a chair. "Spooky, it's me from last night. If sorry about it. I made fun of you, and it was really rude of me. I want to help you with your scares." I say.

"The person from last night? The one who wielded the axe?" She asks. "Yes! Spooky, please show yourself?" I ask. "Why should I? My spooks don't work." She asks. "Because I'm helping you rebuild Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion. We'll do everything!" I say, standing up. I hear a whoosh, and smile as I see Spooky.

"Are you really going to help me?" She asks. "Yes! How let's go. Can you tell you're specimens not to attack us while we renovate?" I ask. After around fifteen minutes, the specimens are dismissed. We start walking around every single room, us both writing down notes for each room. After around 100 rooms, I get a phone call, so I pick up.

"Where are you?!" Gwen yells into the phone. "Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion." I reply. "What? Still? What the heck are you doing?" AJ asks. "I'm exploring and listening to Midnight Marinara. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to continue-" Spooky interrupts.

"Hello miss! What is her name?" She asks, whispering to me the last part. "Gwendolyn. Her husband, AJ, is also there." I whisper back. "Hello AJ and Gwendolyn!" She says. "Hello Spooky! What are you doing with Y/N?" Gwen asks. "It's a secret!" Spooky replies. We both exchange goodbyes, and I hang up, starting up my podcast episode again.

After around 4 hours of Spooky guiding me through everyone room and setting off every jump scare, I look at my list. "Alright, while your specimens are very creepy, we might get sued if they try and kill somebody. And those rooms that fall into the abyss need fences at the very least. We can use the fences in the rooms that are just a plain room. Now, I like the idea of keeping those cute little cardboards as decoys at different points, putting people in a false sense of security." I say.

"What about those dizzying effects I showed you?" She asks. "While I personally like them, they could cause injury." I reply. "Why are you helping me?" She asks. "Because you deserve it. You tried so hard to scare us last night." I say. My phone rings once again, and I shush Spooky. "Hello?" I ask. "You've been in that Mansion for over six hours. What the heck?" Gwen asks.

"I felt bad okay?! She tried so hard to scare us, and the only thing that actually got some pep in our step was Specimen 12!" I say. "I'm not even going to ask how you know what their called. Are you really remodeling the entirety of that Mansion?" She asks. "I met the Specimens earlier. And yes, hopefully helping out from time to time." I say. "How long will you be there?" She asks, sighing. "Could be days. I need to dull some props, take safety measures, everything." I respond.

"Can you hand Spooky the phone?" She asks. "Hey Spooky, Gwen wants to talk to you." I say, handing her the phone. "Hello?" She asks cautiously. "Hey Spooky. Can you make sure Y/N gets home at a decent hour for dinner? She's stubborn and will probably refuse if I tell her." I hear Gwen say.

"Oh! Uhm, sure." She replies. They say goodbye, and Spooky hands my phone back. We continue planning out every room, when Spooky decides she wants to show me something. She walks through a wall, and holds her hand out.

"Spooky, I can't exactly walk through walls." I say. "Trust me." She says. I hesitantly hold out my hand, and she pulls me through the wall. "Whoa. Is this a recording studio?" I ask, seeing the microphone. "Yes. You said you wanted to help out, right?" She asks. "Yes." I say. "Opening night, you'll be our special guest. Record what you need." She says, walking out of the room. "Do I have a theme?" I ask. Spooky giggles, "Ask the guests something." I nod, and do my best young girl voice.
