It was a peaceful evening in Musutafu, Japan.
Well, not for the young Yukio couple.
Amaya Yukio was currently in a hospital bed trying to give birth to her first baby. Her husband, Ren, right by her side.
"Okay, Amaya sweetie? I need you to give one more big push. Could you do that for me?" the doctor asked the woman. All she did was nod with her eyes screwed shut. The said woman brought in a big breath then pushed with all her remaining strength. All the while squeezing her husband's hand for dear life. After a few more pushes, there was suddenly an emptiness in her lower part.
For a quick moment, Amaya got worried. Worried at both the relief in pain, and the silence. Then, the previously quiet room was quickly filled with cries from a baby. The baby that the young woman just brought into the world. The new baby girl was put on Amaya's belly to calm her down. Said woman looked down at the baby she carried in her stomach for the past 9 months and smiled. Though, even though she smiled, Amaya was obviously extremely exhausted.
"I'll name her Raphtalia. Raphtalia Akari Yukio." The young woman croaked out. The doctor that helped her through labor looked at her and smiled at the woman. Nodding, the doctor picked up the now calm baby and brought her over to the cleaning station. Giving her a rinse down and dressed her in a pink onesie. Bringing the baby back over to Amaya, she carefully gave the baby to Amaya's outstretched hands.
"My beautiful Raphtalia, I pray you grow up to be a beautiful, smart girl." Amaya told the now calm, sleeping baby.

Raphtalia is now one day away from turning four and is on her way to a family meet up. She and her mother were going in circles for the past 4 minutes, and it was obvious that her mother was slowly starting to panic. This slowly, but steadily growing anxiety was making young Raphtalia worry about her.
"Mommy? Are you okay?" Raphtalia asked her in worry. She looked up at her mother with worry clear in her eyes. As if sensing her child looking at her, Amaya looked down at the worried child and told herself to calm down.
"I'm fine sweetie, Mommy is just a bit lost." the older woman responded then looked away. Seeing her mother obviously stressed her out made her want to help. So that's what she did.
In young Raphtalia's mind, it was like a switch flipped on. Her vision seemed to become a slight red hue and her eyes turned from golden brown to a vibrant red. The feeling of an invisible mist surrounded herself and her mother. This mist caused a calming feeling which made her mother to stop walking. It seemed to visibly calm the mother down, this caused the switch in young Raphtalia's head to flip off again, the red hue in her vision seemed to vanish as well.
"Is that better mommy?" Young Raphtalia asked in an innocent voice, very oblivious. Her mother looked at her in bewilderment before she hesitantly nodded.
"How did you do that Akari?" She asked the child. Raphtalia just shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know, but Mommy, I'm hungry. Are we close to the food place yet?" Raphtalia asked obliviously. Her mother just nodded and continued to find the restaurant.
She was later told that she used her quirk, Calming, for the first time.

A month after that incident happened, another weird thing happened to her.
She was at the park with her father. She was on the swings while her dad was on the bench talking to his friend he ran into.
"Hey." said a boy. He came up to her with his 2 other friends, somewhat surrounding her.
"If you give me all your money, one of your wishes can come true. Did you know that?" he told her. But something inside her told her he was lying.
