Chapter 8.

*Giavana's POV*

I packed up my things into my bag and started walking out of the park, over to Hayes.

I couldn't keep it in anymore, I started sobbing into Hayes.
He looked a bit taken aback.

"Gia, what's wrong?" He says kissing me on the forehead.

"After my routine the head cheer leader called me up and asked if I knew you, and I said yes he's my boyfriend, and then she snapped her pencil in half and told me to leave." I say crying into his shirt.

"Baby it'll be alright." He says holding me close. "What was her name?"

I think.

"I think her name was Delaney." I say snuggling into his shoulder.

"D-Delaney?" He says.

"Yeah, why?" I say looking up at him.

"Delaney umm, Delaney.....Delaney and I used to date." He stutters.

I look up at him and he looks really sad.

"You and Delaney used to date?" I say a little uncomfortable.

"Yeah, before I met you." He says looking over at Delaney and smiling.

She looks over at him and smiles.

"Hey Delaney!!" Hayes shouts calling her name.

"One minute!" He says running over to Delaney and giving her a massive hug.

I can't help but feel a bit awkward.

I can see them laughing and giggling.

I turn away to put my hair tie in my bag. When I turn around I see Hayes kissing Delaney.

My eyes well up and I can feel tears running down my face.

I pick up my bag and start walking towards the exit.

"GIAVANA WAIT!!!" I can hear Hayes call behind me.

I keep on walking. Now I can hear him walking behind me.

"Gia!"

I start running, now only a block away from my house.

"Gia please!!" I can hear him say.

I sigh and stop in the middle of the road.

"Giavana please let me explain." He says.

I turn to face him.

"Just save it Hayes. You like Delaney! That's just it. I think we should take a break for a while." I say crossing my arms.

"Maybe we should,I can agree on that. But can we PLEASE be friends, I'd hate losing you." He says holding my hands.

"Yeah I'd like that." I say hugging him.

"Friends?" He says holding out his hand.

"Best." I say ruffling his hair which I know he hates.

"GIA!!!" He says looking angry but then he laughs, throwing me over his shoulder and carrying me to his house.
