Unlikely Friendship

Beginning

Vexie had just joined the Dream SMP, for the time being she was staying in Manberg, in small cottage like house she built the day she joined, Vexie being one of the youngest on the SMP, always had someone checking in on her, but today someone she thought she would never met, came to check on her, that someone was no other than the president of Manberg, himself, jschlatt. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Actual story)

"I wonder what I should do today, may-" Vexie said before she was interrupted by a knock at her door. "I wonder who that could be?" She asked herself as she made her way to the door, opening it to find the president of Manberg, himself, jschlatt. "Oh, good afternoon, Schlatt, anything I can do for you?" Vexie asked she stepped aside to let the ram hybrid inside.

"I just came here to check up on you and talk, that's all, kiddo!" Schlatt said with smile.

Vexie nodded. "Oh why don't you sit down and I'll make you some coffee? Then we can talk, how does that sound?"

"Sounds perfectly fine with me, Miss." The ram hybrid said as he took a seat at the table the young girl had in her home.

"So what exactly did you want to talk about, Schlatt?" Vexie asked as she passed the president his coffee and took a seat opposite him.

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to work with me on making Manberg better, I've seen your work, you've done here since you'd joined, so what do you say kiddo?" Schlatt asked as he took a sip of his coffee.

Vexie had a look of shock in her eyes. "Uhmm, can you please give a few days to think about my answer, Schlatt?" She asked with worry and unsureness in her voice.

Schlatt nodded as he finished his coffee. "Of course, kiddo, I'll give you a couple days to decide, but just know that I'll be looking out for you, especially since Wilbur is out for you now since you betrayed Pogtopia after killing Tubbo, Tommy and Niki."

Vexie nodded sadly. "Please don't remind me about that, Eret keeps coming with me every time I go to woods, but He's nice to have around when exploring."

"Well.... I do believe that I've stayed my visit, I'll come back in a couple days, I'll also ask Eret if he can keep going with you into the woods when you're exploring.... I see you as my little sister, Vexie, I would hate for you to get hurt... Well I'll be going now, see you soon, kiddo!" Schlatt said as he left the house.

Vexie giggled to herself as she picked up the empty cup, tucked the chairs back under the table, going to the kitchen , putting the cup in the sink, then she closed her front door probably, then went up to her room, where a small balcony lead to outside, where she could watch the sun set. "I'll have word with Eret, tomorrow, to see if he thinks that I should work with Schlatt to make Manberg better." The young girl muttered softly as she watched the sun set over the hills of Manberg.

"Come on, Vexie, we need to go, there's to many mobs for us to fight off, PLUS you're hurt badly!" Eret yelled as he gently pulled Vexie close to him and ran away from the mobs.

"Sorry Eret, I thought we could take them down, but I guess not..." Vexie muttered quietly.

"Please don't blame yourself, kid, I should of been protected of you more" Eret frowned as he offered to give the young teen a piggyback to Manberg since she twisted her ankle.

"Don't blame yourself, Eret, you did just fine, protecting me, you wouldn't be with me exploring if you'd blame yourself for all my mistakes." The younger said as she got on Eret's back.

The king and village girl slowly but surely made their way back to Manberg where Dream was waiting for them.

"I'll take her back to her home, Eret, you should head back to your castle." The green man said as he took the sleeping girl off the king's back and held her in a bridel style.

"Okay, just strap her left ankle when you get her home, she twisted it well fighting mobs." The king said as he waved goodbye as he walked back to his castle.

Dream hummed in acknowledgement as he started walking to Vexie's house to get her bed, and strap her ankle up.

The girl was sleeping peacefully in Dream's arms. When Dream finally reached the younger's home, he opened the door, going inside, he shut the door with he foot, going upstairs to the girl's room, finally laying Vexie in bed, he got to work on strapping her ankle up, once he was done he made his way out of the house and back to his own, making sure to shut the door on his way out.
