Alexiel And Riliane Find Out About Deep-Sea Girl

The date was April 12th, 2021. The members of the Gills family couldn't eat that morning. Because of what happened to Shelby Gills (Deep-Sea Girl).

Mrs. Gills: I can't believe our own daughter would do this.

She started to cry again. Her husband comforted her.

Mr. Gills: We shouldn't cry for her.

Mrs. Gills: You're right.

Edward: Uh, Mom? Dad? What are we going to do? Are we going to tell Alexiel about this?

Mrs. Gills: I feel like we have to. He is her boyfriend, after all.

Mr. Gills: But he's been busy with the new baby.

Mrs. Gills: That's true. It's a shame that little Germaine and her baby sister will grow up without a daddy.

Edward: Are we all going?

Mr. Gills: Yes, we are.

Edward: But what about Lemy? Ever since we told him about Shelby, he just locked himself in his room.

Mrs. Gills: Just keep trying, dear.

Edward went upstairs to get his adoptive brother. A few minutes later, both boys came down. Lemy's eyes were stained with tears.

Mr. Gills: Are you alright, Lemy?

Lemy: I can't believe it. Shelby saved my life! It's just not fair!

Mrs. Gills: I know this is hard to take in, Lemy. We all miss her.

Mr. Gills: We better tell Alexiel about this. Let's go.

The family arrived at the castle about 20 minutes later. Everyone got out of the car and told the guard about why they're there. The guard let them in and the family found the throne room. There was Arth Lucifen d'Autriche, his wife Anne, and their kids Riliane and Alexiel.

Mr. Gills: Your Majesties, we have to talk to your kids. Alone.

Arth: I see. We'll leave you to it, then.

Arth and Anne left the throne room.

Riliane: Ugh, why'd you have to bring Lemy with you?

Mrs. Gills: Riliane, please! Now is not the time!

Alexiel: Where's Shelby?

Edward: That's why we're here.

Mr. Gills: Alexiel...we don't know how to explain this.

Alexiel: Where...is...Shelby?

Lemy: She's dead!

Alexiel was silent. Riliane then started laughing.

Riliane: Good one, guys. Shelby Gills...dead? That's just hilarious!

Mrs. Gills: We're telling the truth, Princess.

Riliane: Wait...you're serious?

Mrs. Gills: Yes. She killed herself by overdose.

Alexiel was still silent. But tears started to fall from his eyes.

Edward: Alexiel? You okay?

Alexiel: I don't believe it.

Riliane: Why would she do this?

Alexiel: Well, she was struggling with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Maybe that's why.

Riliane: Or it's because of this person that's been kidnapping random Miku modules.

Alexiel: Can she be revived? At all?

Mr. Gills: Alexiel...she killed herself. I don't think the savior of this town has what it takes to bring back Shelby.

Alexiel: What am I going to do? Germaine and her little sister are going to be without a father.

Riliane: Well, looks like you're not going to get married next year. This is going to disappoint a lot of people.

Alexiel: Why are you talking like this, Riliane? Shelby is dead! And all you're worried about is our wedding?!

Riliane: I'm also worried about how many kids you have together. You guys only have 2.

Alexiel: I can't believe you right now! You were starting to warm up to Shelby.

Riliane: I was. Alexiel, there's plenty of fish in the sea. I'm sure you'll find someone else that'll make you happy.

Alexiel: No one can replace Shelby...

And with that, he left to go upstairs. The group could hear a door slam.

Riliane: So, any plans on a funeral?

Mr. Gills: We're...uh...not sure yet. But we'll let you and your parents know.

Riliane: Alright. Thank you for informing us. I'm sure Alexiel will eventually get over Shelby's death.

Mrs. Gills: We better go.

And with that said, the Gills family left.

Riliane: Dammit, Shelby...you left too soon...and left Germaine and her little sister without a father...

She was now starting to feel tears coming down.

Anne: Sweetheart, are you alright?

Riliane: It's Alexiel's girlfriend...we're not having a wedding next year after all.

Arth: What happened?

Riliane: She killed herself.

Anne: Oh no.

Arth: How did Alexiel take this news?

Riliane: Not very well. But I'm sure he'll move on from her death. Eventually.

Well, I read Tammy's new story called "The End Of Deep Sea Girl", and had to write this little one-shot, seeing how Alexiel and Riliane would handle her death. There might be a funeral, there might not. We'll just see what happens. And Haou, I hope you're happy! I'll see you guys in the next story.
