Karla stared at her work. She tried picking up the pencil yet again, but all she managed to do was finish writing the date at the top right of the paper. She looked at the question. "What the hell?" She looked over at Pow, who was sitting on her bed, doing whatever it was she was doing.
"I can feel you staring at the back of my head". Pow looked back and shot Karla a glare. Karla's eyes widened and she pouted. "I literally just looked at you" She crossed her arms and got up. Karla walked over to the bed and got on top, waving her paper in Pow's face. "Help me, Pow Pow! I am in need of assistance!" She pouted and sat on her knees.
"Fuck off. I also need to do work" Pow looked at the girl with narrowed eyes once again, only getting a whining sound from the kneeling girl. "Pow Pow, why so mean?" Karla then poked the girl in her stomach, making Pow jump. "What the hell?" Pow remarked, only to receive a smile from Karla.
Karla huffed, looking at her paper again. When did her focus go away? She felt her mind slowly throw away all the memory files in there, little by little, her mind was emptying. It was getting harder and harder to process simple information. Her mind swirled with random thoughts that were incredibly far from the original topic. She couldn't even do simple math now. She moved her gaze from the paper to the girl sitting in front of her.
Pow was sitting there, finishing up an assignment. Pow didn't hate Karla, she just wanted to finish her work so that she could give the girl her undivided attention. Was she harsh at times? Yes, but that is what makes her Pow. And Karla loved it. Every single part of Pow was sure to be loved by Karla. The only thing that really kept Karla in tact was Pow being there for her.
Karla scooted a bit more towards Pow, placing a gentle hand near her face, pushing away a strand of hair that was bothering her eye. She could tell because Pow kept blinking weirdly. Pow looked at the girl who has doing her a huge favor by pushing the strands of hair. She was too focused on finishing, she didn't even notice the hair was bothering her. She looked up at Karla, giving her a soft smile. Karla smiled back, placing a soft kiss on Pow's forehead.
"I'm finally done with my assignment. I can help you now" Pow said, placing her arms around Karla's waist, placing a soft kiss on her cheek. "Ah, okay!" Karla nodded and showed her the paper. After 2 hours of going through every problem, Karla felt accomplished and placed a kiss on Pow's cheek. "Thank you, Pow Pow". She knew that she couldn't always rely on Pow so that she could help her with her work, but it would be amazing if every teacher was like Pow. Patient, yet strict, being able to explain everything as simple as explaining how to draw. Drawing is easy, just pick up a pencil and do your thing, but there are different stages of drawing. Pow can teach you each step without a problem. She can explain the basics, show you how to do it and everything she would do, you would do. Everything Pow did, in Karla's eyes, was perfect.
