I CANT MAKE SENSE BUT HERE YOU GO-

~

Branch leaned against the tree, waving at almost every troll that walked by. Which, they barely even noticed.

Even though he had his true colors, he still felt excluded. But that was his fault, mostly from all of the sarcasm and him being paranoid just made him less popular. Most of the trolls just didn't like him, and some just didn't think he could handle the fun.

But It was good to have Poppy as a friend, but when you finally get your colors after 20 years, you'd expect things to change. Atleast that's what he thought...

And of course, he was the grump of the village, still. But having fun and making people happy was a trolls life right? So why was it so difficult?

Finally leaving the tree, he decided to head home for the day. He thought of visiting Poppy, but he didn't want to disturb her, especially being queen and all.

Branch had no clue of how was he supposed he keep his colors without turning gray again, It was nearly impossible. All he could think about was his Grandmothers death, and how alone he felt these past couple of days.

"I really should get help..."

Still cleaning up his bunker from the mess the trolls had left when he went to bergen town, Branch spent hours cleaning. It would have been nice if the trolls would've at least offered him some help, but either way, he would decline.

Finally, after what felt like days of scrubbing glitter, he finally sat down on his bed. With bad thoughts surrounding his head, he drifted off to a horrible slumber.

"You're worthless.."

"You ugly disgrace..."

"Go back from where you came from, freak..."

What kind of dream was this?

Branch couldn't take it anymore. Without wasting a second, he ran off to find Poppy.

Running through the village, he had stares from all around. A few whisperings too. If he could, he would just drop dead right in front of everyone. After all, who would care? He was just a gray troll, and that's all he'll ever be.

His colors were fading, from royal blue to now gray and black. Only to find out Poppy wasn't at her pod, but she was with Creek, the one who sold us out to the bergens. But they forgave him, and of course, he's back.

Branch couldn't be seen like this, not in front of her anyways. But then he had attention around every corner, was he blacking out? The words filled his mind like a freight train, and soon the tears would start coming.

Branch ran as quickly as he could and camouflaged himself behind a tree. But with all the trolls asking if he was okay, his cover would be quickly blown.

Branch had to make it into the forest, it's the only place he would feel safe. That was until the tears started coming down his face like a faucet. Why was this happening to him? He was supposed to be happy like everyone else. But he was the outcast, and he had to accept that.

Finally taking a quick move, he moved out from behind the tree and came face to face with Creek.

"Watch where your going you-"

"Branch..."

Branch glanced down at himself, feeling the desperate need of a hug.

"Creek, please don't tell anyone..." He sobbed shakily, holding eye contact.

"Branch, what is going on with you?" He asked, grabbing onto his shoulders holding him in place.

"I-I don't know..." Branch let out one last stutter, before breaking away from his grasp and into the woods. Thank hair Poppy wasn't with him...

                                                                       -O-

"Poppy!"

After Creek realized what just happened, he needed to tell Poppy. Even though he said not to tell anyone...

"Hey Creek, What's up?"

He sighed, "Branch is gray again."

"What?" Her face fell in disbelief, with her hands moving over her chest.

"Why?"

"I'm not sure love, He just ran into me and..."

With that, Poppy took off to the bunker, Completely leaving everyone behind.

She didn't even bother to knock, she just went in. Of course, he was probably used to her breaking into his bunker by now.

Once she reached the bottom, she could hear cries coming from the bedroom.

"Branch?" She slightly pushed the door open, revealing Branch in the corner of the room, hiding in his hair.

Branch didn't want this to happen, he just wanted to be left alone for once in his life.

She sighed, sitting down next to him, pushing his hair out of her view.

"Branch..." She smiled, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay."

He sniffed one last time before lifting his head, "How is it okay?" He stared into her pink eyes, waiting for her to respond. "Because you have me." She gently pressed her lips to his, feeling him tremble a bit.

"I love you Branch!" She smiled and walked off, leaving him flustered.
