It was late at night, on October 30th to be specific. In some old abandoned house, Scooby and Shaggy were running for their lives from a zombie.

"Like, this way,  Scoob!!!" Shaggy yelled, pointing down a hallway

The two then immediately cut around the corner and out of sight of the zombie they were running from, but looked rather dissapointed that the zombie didn't follow them.

"Like, I know we're scared and everything, but Fred told us to bring the zombie down this hall." Shaggy stated. "How come he didn't follow us?"

"RI don't know." Scooby responds

Just then, Fred's voice came over a walkie talkie.

"You guys find that zombie yet?" Fred asked

"Oh, we found him alright." Shaggy stated. "But one problem."

"And what would that be?" Velma asked

"Like, he din't follow us into the hall you want us to lead him in to." Shaggy stated. "He just, like, ran right on by as if the hall doesn't exist."

"I think  I am beginning to piece this mystery together guys." Velma states. "We just need that-"

With Fred, Velma, and Daphne, they heard Scooby and Shaggy's screams as the walkie cut to static.

"Scooby??? Shaggy???? Can you hear me????" Fred called out into the walkie, even switching frequencies as he did so. "Shaggy????? Scooby Doo????"

Fred threw the walkie at the wall.

"We've lost them." Fred said

"I think someone's using holograms is why the zombie didn't follow them into the hall." Velma stated

"But what's happened to poor Shag and Scoob?" Daphne asked

"You mean these two??" A male voice boomed as Scooby and Shaggy's whimpering was heard over the speakers

Fred, Velma, and Daphne quickly huddled.

"They;re in the same room we found those costumes." Fred whispered

"Okay, let's go." Velma replied in a whisper

In said hidden room, Shaggy and Scooby were being hung from the ceiling by their feet.

"Like, no wonder you didn't follow us into that hallway!!! The one chasing us was a hologram and you aren't even a real zombie!!" Shaggy snapped

"Exactly." The man behind this whole case stated, the man's name being Margoly Harbord. "You all are getting too close to revealing my oil line plans regarding this house

"If you mean by us getting too close, then you got the wrong one from our group, dummy!" Shaggy stated

"Then which of your three friends has it??" Margoly asked, holding a knife to Shaggy's throat

"RWe'll never tell!!" Scooby said before barking at Margoly which actually made him jump a little

Before Margoly could pick up the knife, however, a very familiar scythe ad sniper combo weapon blasted the door open,

"Ruby!!!" Shaggy and Scooby both exclaimed with joy

"Let's get you two down from there." Ruby said, putting Crescent Rose into scythe mode, not noticing  Margoly sneaking up on her

"Ruby, look out!!" Yang's voice called out from behind as her, along with Weiss and Blake, got back with Fred, Daphne, and Velma

At this exact moment, Fred punched Margoly in the face, knocking him over allowing Yang, Blake, Weiss, Velma, and Daphne to tie the crook up. Right as Ruby cut down Scooby and Shaggy, the two grabbed Ruby and ran out, Velma grabbing Weiss and Daphne grabbing Blake as they ran.

Just then, Margoly breaks free and chased after them.

"Zoinks!!!" Shaggy yelled

"Everyone make like a banana sundae and split!" Velma said

Margoly then throws....a frag grenade which missed entirely since the group had all ran in separate directions, Fred going alone, Blake going with Daphne, Weiss going with Velma, and Yang and Ruby both having gone with Scooby and Shaggy.

Fred turned around a corner, hoping Margoly wouldn't see him, however, he had to run again when a knife hit the wall next to him.

Velma and Weiss were having better luck. They managed to get away and get outside and set up a backup trap.

A few minutes later, the others came running out. Margoly following them.

"Now!!" Velma shouts

With that, Weiss cut a rope, setting off a net that held Margoly in the air

"And that is exactly how it's done." Velma stated
