Chapter 2

Nozomi's POV

Morning comes, I slowly open my eyes and do what I did yesterday but today I'm looking forward to go in school. I quickly went to school, and I think I went to early that I don't see any other students roaming around, I decide to go in my classroom and wait for others

But the moment I open the door I saw someone inside, blonde hair tied in ponytail, it's Ayase-san, her eyes are closed, fingers intertwined like she's praying something, then remembering that I should avoid Ayase-san. I quickly take my sit and out my bag away. I tried to focus on something else, Ayase-san didn't even move in her position

10 minutes passed no one still showed up, I am really that early I questioned myself and now I feel uncomfortable she still not moving, it's making me worried too. I'm about to reach her shoulder, then a blood stars to spill in my arm "H-huh? Blood?" I saw the blonde twitch, her composture change

My head suddenly hurst, I hold my head and in my mind I saw someone I can't see her face but she's crying, her eyes turn into red one, I shake my head and the pain suddenly disappeared

"Hey are you okay? Your bleeding" I can't see who said that my vision is blurry "Hey Nozomi are you okay?" This voice "N-nicochi?" Nico kneel down and put her hands in my shoulder "Nozomi?" I smile "Yes, I'm fine just got a little dizzy" Nico seems not convinced enough but thankfully she didn't ask more "Don't stress yourself, if you need to go in the clinic just call me " I nod, she sit down on her chair

"Hey Nicochi, where's Ayase-san?" "She leave the moment I enter the room and I think you should stop that bleeding" I looked at my arm and yes it's still bleeding, I get my handkerchief in my blazer and starts to wipe the blood, now my handkerchief is covered in blood

The room starts to pile up, Ayase-san return to her sit again now all composed again. The class starts and everyone is listening while me trying to figure out how I get a cut on my arm but I can't think of anything, and my head still hurts

The school bell ring indicating that it's lunch time, Nico is already behind me "Let's go?" I smile and stand up, we talked while walking in the cafeteria, a yakiniku is available today so I went and but it while Nico buy a tomato soup with bread

We take our sit in the vacant chair "Nicochi, can I ask you something?" Nico put down her food on the table and sit before answering "What's is it?" She raise her eyebrow "W-well....can you tell me what do you  know about Ayase-san" Nico stare at me for about a minute "What is this all of the sudden" still staring at me "Just tell me" I look at her with serious eyes, she sighed "If you really want, then I guess I can"

"Ayase is part of the student council and she's the president" I look at her with a shock expression "Really?" "Yup! And there's a rumour that she's a vampire" suddenly someone bump Nico, she hiss and glare at the girl, the girl bowed and apologies then I smell something, I smell blood coming from Nico "Hey Nicochi are you bleeding?" Nico looked at me with confusion mixed with anger and look at her finger, there's a blood coming out, she lick her finger wiping the blood

Nico look at me "How did you know that I'm bleeding?" "I smell it, I have a good nose ya know!" I proudly say, she just rolled her eyes "Yeah yeah, now let's finish our food shall we?" I giggle and quickly eat my food

We return to our room and listen to the teacher's lesson "You know, that there are vampires in this world, well other humans wants to be a vampire, so they search and do an experiment to the vampire and human's body" a girl raised her hand "I thought that's illegal?" "Yes it is, people who caught experimenting will be arrested and sentenced to death" there the class discuss about experimenting and I hate it. And at last class ended

Nicochi and I walk together again and wave at each other, I rummage my bag to find my English notes but I found nothing. I run back to our classroom 'If only we don't have  quiz in English tommorow, I won't return to get it back' I thought, I open the door and found my notes on my table, I quickly get it and leave the room and suddenly my teacher called me "Tojo-san! Can you bring this in the student council?" my teacher pass me the pile of papers stack together even though I don't agree, my teacher smile and wave at me, I just sighed and starts to walk

"Student counc- wait so that means I need to talk to the student council member or worst talk to the president" I swallowed a thick salava. I arrive at the student council room and knock, but no one answer, I tried to knock again but still no answer so I decided to enter the room, there's no other people in there I walk around the room, my heart stopped for a sec and my eyes are widened, there I saw Ayase-san lying on the floor and look so pale, I quickly went beside her "Hey, are you alright?!" I shake her, and it seems to work I saw her twitch and slowly crawl towards me, this give me shiver all over my body

Her blue eyes change into a red one, she open her mouth revealing her sharp fangs, I tried to push her away but she pinned me in the floor she leaned putting her head in my neck "I.....can't....I want...your blood"
