"So Baby sis are you gonna ask mom to come over?" She looked at me sideways which made me chuckle
"So I can get in trouble for just asking? Nah I'm straight ill just text Aug while yall are over there" She shrugged her shoulders

"Yeah, aight we shall see" We got to the front door and Shae turned around "Well I'm going upstairs to my room if she says yes someone texts me, if not...Yall just go have fun" We gave her a nod, she opened the door and there was our mom and Mr. Anthony sitting on the couch
"Hey Kids, How was school?" You heard a whole bunch of "Okays" and "Eeeh"
"Well guys I'm going upstairs" We gave Shae a nod
"Is she okay?" My mom asked, "Did anything happen to her today?"
"No ma nothing happened and she is good" I looked over at CeeJay and gave him the nod
"Hey Pops, Around 6 ish can we go hang out at August's house? his mama is cooking" Ceejay Chuckled
"She gon get tired of you only coming over there to eat but bring me back a plate" He let out a laugh as my mom elbowed him
"So what you tryna say my cooking is bad?" she side-eyed him
"Nah Baby your cooking is great But Ms. Sheila from NOLA and her food just hit different that's all" My mom rolled her eyes
"Ummm Hmm lemme find out, But Ceejay baby bring me a plate too so I can try it out" He let out a laugh
"Yes Mam I definitely will" I looked at tory, hell I don't know why I'm nervous
