In which a girl who struggles to express herself finds comfort in the most unlikely of faces. There is a lot of darkness in the world, and Maeko realizes just how tightly she must hold onto the traces of light that she finds in people.

Thank you so much for clicking on my story, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Tendou is my favourite character, in the Haikyuu series and in general, so I knew the first fanfiction I wrote and published had to be for him. I've debated throwing this back in drafts because it feels a little cringe sometimes, but it has received overwhelming positivity, and it holds a special place in my heart as my first published piece. I know my writing can only improve from here.
