It's been 3 months since I last saw Leslie and I'm going crazy. Myndie tries to get me in her pants on a day basis and won't stop.  I can't accept the alpha title because my mate isn't physically here, and since we haven't mated the bond isn't strong enough for me to fully sense where she is. The moment I get her back we are going on a date and I will do everything right. 

"Carter, baby, you need to leave this room you're not going to find Leslie if you stay cooped up in here all day, everyday." My mom said as she came into my room.
I did as she said and left my room. I grabbed an apple and headed for the gym on the other side of town.  I can't be in the house I'll blow up on someone. The only bad thing about it is that it's next to the apartment building Myndie's family owns. Their house is next to that. 

As I drove past Myndie's house I got this feeling in my chest and my wolf wouldn't stop pacing in my head he was giving me a head ache because he was also mumbling random things.
I decided to try and under stand what he was saying. I parked my car across the road from the house and listened real hard. 

'Mate ... Basement... blackout...' He kept repeating it in my head. 

'OK dude Shut the fuck you and tell me what your thinking.' I told him
'OK do you remember the day Mate when missing?'
'Yeah'
' well we both blacked out at Starbucks when we woke up poof she was gone. Well Myndie is scared of Leslie She wouldn't come around until after she went missing, and who was the only other person there.  I can sense her In that house but it's like she's underground so I think she's in the basement.'

I saw where he was coming from so I went over the the house. I knocked on the door and of course with my luck Myndie answered.  
"Hey Carter did you come to see me?" She asked trying to be seductive.
I pushed passed her and ran the her basement
"CARTER YOU CAN'T GO DOWN THERE!! " she yelled.  God her voice is annoying.
I hear my name faintly as I'm walking down the stairs I got to the bottom and there sat my mate bruised and battered . I ran to her and held her close. I actually cried at the sight of her. I found her, but she was so small. 

"Get me the key" I said
" no, she's about to die anyways," She said as if she was bored.
"GET ME THE FUCKING KEY MYNDIE! " I ordered. She ran and got the I unlocked my mate and called my beta and our parents.  My beta Chris came and got Myndie and her brothers as they admitted to helping her. 
I'm taking my mate home and Getting so well need food for her and rest.

        I wake up and I seem to be in mine and Carter's room but last time I checked Myndie and her two brothers had kidnapped me. What is going on? Am I hallucinating? oh my moon goddess it wont go away. 

 I'm pulled out of my thoughts by the door being kicked down, while Carter was standing there starring at me. I then realize I'm actually home and away from that horrid place. I slowly stood up and walked over to him. The moment I got to him he grabbed me by my waist and held me there. we stood there for I don't know how long  we held one another all I know is I stood there and cried. No words were needed we understood that all we needed was to be in each others arms making sure everything was real. 

"Hey Les?" he asked.

"yes, Carter," I countered.

" I missed you so much I started going crazy. I almost cried when I found you I'm so glad to have you back. please don't ever leave me I wouldn't be able to live." he said while tears were running down his face.  

I could tell this hurt him and I can also tell this will make our bond stronger. I didn't say anything just hugged him tighter.

"I'm hungry,"I stated.

"Way to ruin the moment", Carter chuckled ,"come on lets get you some food."

 With that we walked down stairs to an even more emotional greeting with my parents and friends. 

We spent the rest of the day just catching up. It turns out I was gone three months I thought it was longer than that.  After a month of being in that basement the pain became so much I lost count of the days. Anyways Cassidee got pregnant about a week before the incident and since werewolf pregnancies don't last as long as a humans. She'll be ready to pop sometime next month. I cant wait. Its funny her and Chris have mated while carter haven't had any sexual contact since we first discovered we were mates. Needless to say I went through my first heat by my self which sucked it took forever to go away. 

Cassidee and Chris left a little after 10:30 pm and I decided it was time for bed. I grabbed carters hand and drug him up stairs to our room; we both mumbled a goodnight and  fell asleep.
