The Oberoi clan and Anika were having breakfast that morning when they heard a voice that irritated Shivaay.
"Anika, Khushi please tell Tia I'm not here." saying, Shivaay hid under the table before Tia could notice him.

"Hey Khushi, where is your brother?!" Tia asked as she approached the girls, not before scowling at Anika.
"Hi Tia, bhaiyya is..." Before Khushi could say any further, Anika spoke up "Hey Tia, we don't know where Shivaay is but we are very sure that he is not here, especially not under the table."

Before Tia could find him, Shivaay revealed himself not before frowning at Anika for spilling his precious secret. Greeting his friend, he tried excusing himself for a business call but there was another voice he heard which he never liked to hear as well.

"Shivaay?" Ragini entered eyeing Anika and Tia standing on either sides of Shivaay.
"What are you doing here Tia?" Ragini asked not really pleased to which she answered "To spend time with Shivaay, of course."

Anika left to attend her brother's call along with Khushi while Tej accompanied his son in minutes.

"I'm marrying Shivaay, so you better back off." Ragini spoke letting Tia gasp in shock.
"Shivaay, how could you?!" Tia asked tears brimming her eyes when he said calmly, "I'm not marrying anyone."
In no time, the girls started fighting back again while Tej tried his best to stop them. Shivaay did enjoy their fight to an extent but left from there successfully excusing himself for a call.

"Anika, why?!" He literally cried as he entered her room.
"Aww, just for fun Mr.CSO." She chuckled pinching his cheeks and he face palmed himself to not flaunt his flushed cheeks to her.
"CSO?!" He managed to ask while she answered, "Cute Singh Oberoi." making him smile widely.

"Shivaay!?" They heard a chorused voice of Ragini's and Tia's when Anika was about to answer. Before she could, he pulled her close to him, cupping her mouth from answering.
"Please." He said closing his eyes while Anika enjoyed the moment happily.

That afternoon, Shivaay was in Dadi's room when Anika entered almost hollering "Shivaay we got another sponsor for the exhibition."
"Well, who is it?!" He asked curiously to which she said "Mr.Daksh Khurana"
"What?!" He almost hollered making Anika surprised, "Is something wrong?"
"Of course! You are not letting him sponsor this exhibition." He said trying to calm himself but Anika was definitely annoyed, "No he will sponsor the exhibition. I'm not letting you take the complete burden."

Before they could argue any further, Anika left from there leaving an angry Shivaay. Hours passed by and Anika was in the study trying to paint but was not able to.

"Leave my son alone." She heard a rude voice from behind and she turned back to see an angry Tej.
"Uncle?" She called out to him and he continued "My son has a bright future in business and with his friend, Ragini being his life partner. So I want you to leave him."
"But Shivaay is not happy uncle." She spoke when he signed her to stop "You are telling me about my son? Who are you!?"
"I'm his..." She stopped herself because she didn't want to lie about being Shivaay's girlfriend.

"You are not even able to name your relationship." He laughed sarcastically.
"I may not name my relationship with Shivaay but we know what we are. It's a pity to hear about your son from a random person, and that's happening because you never understood him." She said and left not wanting to hear anymore from Tej.

As she entered her room, she saw Shivaay waiting for her.

"Anika, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have reacted that way!" He said but she didn't answer him. Instead, she just walked past him as if he never even existed and this definitely surprised him. He held her hand this time and called out to her, "Anika?!"
"Yeah Shivaay?" She replied coming out of trance.
"Is everything all right?" He asked out of concern to which she nodded and said, "I thought we fought, didn't we? I'm not talking to you."
"For your kind information, we didn't fight." He stated but she shook her head saying, "No we did."

"Okay even if we did, don't stop talking to me." He said softly, "Why?!" She asked raising her eyebrows at him.
"Because... I can't bear your silence." He said surprising Anika. She definitely felt good hearing him, "Why is that so Mr.Shivaay Singh Oberoi?!"
"Because... I have got addicted to your voice, Ms.Anika Arora." He said making her smile widely.
