Have you ever had the feeling that maybe you had just one person who could understand you better than anyone else just waiting for you? No? Me either. This is my journal and well since you're reading it we mine as well start at the beginning. My name is Persephone, and you could say I was a skeptic about love. I mean who wouldn't be when you've got people with multiple failed relationships surrounding your life. My mother has been married at least seven times now, and she's yet to find her "soul mate". I grew up in the small town of Rome, Georgia. Where everyone knows your name and even so close as to what you ate for dinner last night. Being an only child with a mother who can't stop chasing men brings a lot of problems when you're attending school. Many times I was called names I won't dirty this journal up with, but I'm sure you can imagine the words I'm thinking of. Fast forward finally graduating from Armurchee High and you think you've won the lottery jack pot. Wrong. Finding a place to work was the next hardest thing I've had to do. People who graduated with you could make a difference if you got a job or not, due to their parents owning places. So, fast forward to finding a job. I currently work at bath and body works. Oh yeah, living the dream. One solid part of good though is working with my best friend Athena. We have always stuck together in whatever we do, so when I got a job here she did too. She's the best friend that everyone wishes they had. When I was getting called names under the sun; she's the one who stepped in and well took care of the situation. So, enough of that. Let's move on to the part where I wanted to abandon her.
