A/N This has been sitting in my drafts forever and I finally got the motivation to fishish it🤗 Also I know I keep saying this and all of you are probably sick of hearing it but I promise the requests are coming❤️❤️ In the meantime I hope you like this!!

"Kelly?" You questioned walking into your home.

"Yes." He replied back, poking his head out of the kitchen.

"Why's there a boat in our driveway?"

"I bought it!" He said proudly with a shit eating grin on his face.

"Babe." You began, covering your face with your hand, "We don't live near a lake."

"Well there's one like an hour and a half away from us." Kelly said walking over to you.

"I leave for one hour to go out with my friends, and you buy a boat." You said in disbelief at this man child you fell in love with.

Kelly pouted playfully. "Come on I'll go show it to you! Maybe we can even take it out today!" He exclaimed not waiting for you as he sprinted out to the driveway

Kelly began showing you all of the boat's features as he gestured wildly, clearly overjoyed at his newest purchase.

"Please can we keep it? It'll be soooo much fun." He begged.

Obviously seeing how excited he was about this you agreed. "Yes we can keep it."

"Fuck yeah." He cheered hugging you tightly.

"But I want to take it out today and make sure it actually works." You said cautiously hoping that Kelly didn't get scammed.

"Ok yeah we can do that!" Kelly said gleefully. "I just have to get some stuff first and hook the trailer back up to the car."

"Ok Kel let me know when you're done."

"Kelly! Don't back the car into the water!" You panicked.

"Calm down I know what I'm doing. Does the boat look like it's mostly in the water?" He asked

"Umm Yeah looks good to me."

"Alright let's rock N' roll!" He exclaimed, jumping out of the car.

"KELLY! THE PARKING BRAKE!" You yelled.

"Oh shit babe almost forgot." He said hoping back in the car and putting it on.

You just shook your head laughed at how excited he was.

"Look what else I got for it!" Kelly said waving around a pirate flag with a skull and crossbones on it. "We can be like pirates!"

"It looks great." You giggled. As long as you'd known Kelly he has always been obsessed with pirates and anything having to do with them. You thought it was adorable to see this grown man geek out over pirate things no matter how small.

"There's just one rule before you board my ship." He told you sternly with his arms crossed.

"And what's that?" You asked playfully rolling your eyes.

"You have to call me Captain Kelly."

"Ay ay Captain." You saluted as you climbed into the boat.

"You ever driven a boat before?" You asked him suddenly a little scared for your life.

"Nope, But I've driven a car, a motorcycle, and a lawnmower before so how hard can it be." He shrugged.

And apparently it wasn't too hard because soon the two of you were cruising around the lake with huge smiles plastered on your faces.

"AHOY THERE MATEY!" Kelly shouted at a fellow boat.

"Shhh Kells." You tried to shush him before he embarrassed you.

But your shushing did nothing and Kelly continued screaming. "WE'VE COME TO STEAL YOUR SHIP AND TAKE THE TREASURE FOR OURSELVES!"

"I'm so sorry to interrupt you my stupid boyfriend just thinks he's a pirate." You awkwardly smiled at a very confused man on the other boat.

"Aww babe we can't be good pirates if we don't rob anyone." Kelly joked

"Kels you can't just yell at people that you're going to steal their ship." You giggled at your goofy boyfriends antics.

It turns out your scolding did nothing and a few minutes later Kelly pulled up next to another boat.

"Excuse me good sir you haven't seen Blackbeard's Queen Ann's Revenge sailing these waters have you?"

The guy on the other ship just looked Kelly up and down cracked open a beer, took a large swig from it and said seriously "Um you do know this is a lake right."

"I highly doubt that." Kelly laughed and with that the two of you sped away and Kelly began looking for a new boat to antagonize.

"AHOY!" Kelly yelled to yet another boat as you tried to hold in your laughter.

You decided to join your pirate obsessed boyfriend "ARRG MATEY WE'VE COME FOR YER TREASURE!"

"You got any booty on that ship cause I have some on mine" Kelly cheekily smirked and smacked your ass for good measure.

"KELLY!" You blurted out, face turning red.

"Y-you're Kelly Nickels of L.A. Guns." One of the girls on the ship Kelly had chosen to harass said in shock.

"Sorry I don't know who that is. I'm Captain Kelly the pirate." He winked before he fished through his pockets and tossed one of his bass picks to the unexpecting fan.

You and Kelly had a wonderful time on the water with only a few more pirate incidents with you occasionally joining in.

"Well what do you think about the boat?" Kelly asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"I think it was a wonderful investment babe." You turned and smiled at him after unlocking the door.

"There's only one more thing we need to do today to really be pirates."

"Oh yeah and what's that Captain Kelly?" You teased him.

"RUM!" He beamed.

"Kel I don't think we have any-" you began before being interrupted by your boyfriend.

"I always keep a secret stash." He grinned.

Kelly came back holding a bottle of rum you had no idea you had.

Pouring two shot glasses he handed one to you and made himself comfortable on the couch snuggling into your side.

"A pirate's life for me." You both cheered as you raised your glasses and clinked them together.
