{HES AWAKE?}

After the day Tsukishima broke down, the team continued coming but didn't talk about Yamaguchi as much. They mostly sat in silence , hoping while they were there he would awake. Weeks passed , Hinata bringing Tsukishima his work every night after practice and picking up his work. He too wanted Yamaguchi to wake up but he was loosing hope .

About a month after he was put in a coma, his fingers moved slightly, Tsukishima jumping in surprised. Doctors filled the room, kicking the broken boy out and doing test, seeing he would be awake soon. Tsukishima found these news joyful, seeming he would have his best friend and lover back. The doctors believed he should have some Anesthesia when he awoke but he would get all of his memories back in the span of a few days. Tsukishima argued with the doctors , telling them to try and make him wake up sooner, but that just got him kicked out of the hospital. They told him he could come back tomorrow and with that, he stopped out of the hospital, angry.

Who were they to kick him out? They knew how long he sat in that blue chair everyday from 6am -10pm every day since almost two months ago. They knew how he felt guilty and he needed to be there with the boy . They knew he needed to be the first one to say something when he woke up. He wanted to say he was sorry.  But he might not get the chance to do so once he awoke and with that, that made his sadness turn into more anger. He couldn't believe he would have to go to school tomorrow and then go to the hospital. He couldn't believe he had to go back to normal actives when he was fine waiting for the green-Ette to wake up . He was scared he would be forgotten for a few days and he needed this to happen quickly and get his lover back.

The next day passed slowly , tsukishima attending volleyball practices and school with the rest of the team. He didn't throw not one snarky remark but kept a sad look , a frown planted on his face. The team knew he was still taking this hard but they didn't expect it to be this bad. but yet again they didn't expect him at school yet, well at least until Yamaguchi was awake.  He got scolded at by all the teachers , complaining on how he should've came to school like the rest of the team had, not knowing how bad Yamaguchi's state was. Tsukishima plainly rolled his eyes at this and rushed to the hospital as soon as he could. He couldn't take not seeing him and being alone at school. Afternoon practice was cut down by an hour, since the boys usually were all in the hospital.

Tsukishima quickly hopped off the train and ran towards the hospital's sliding doors, the team not far behind. He rushed in , the nurse not giving him a second glass since he was always here. Tsukishima rushed into the white room, seeing doctors writing his vitals down. The tall boy sat down , grabbing the green haired boys hand and squeezing it, receiving a very weak squeeze back. Tsukishima eyes widened as he squeezed again, another weak squeeze in response. The boy filled with joy, hoping this meant he was gonna awake.

As the team walked in, the bed began to move slightly, a green haired , freckled face boy staring at everyone.

"HES AWAKE!"
