Chapter 10

His POV

            I walked all the way to her at Haven of Hope. I seek for her at all the areas just to tell what I needed to say. And, of all the places, I’ve only got one last idea- at the playground. The place where it all start.

                I’m getting much nearer until I went to swing. And guess what?

The image of her, slowly breathing was the hardest to see. As I was about to scream for help, she held my hand.

                “Stay, please” she said between her breath.

“ Light, thank you. Since the moment you came across my life, it was the wonderful blessings I’ve ever received. You’re the most awesome gift to be valued the most. Funny, that our first met was ridiculous. Seeing you, unmannerly interacting with someone truly bothers me a lot. Hahaha”

                I held her hand, I doesn’t know why. I just feel great  filling her fingers by mine.

                “I’m sorry for calling you Light Lucian since before. Don’t worry, after this there’s no someone who will call you Light. There’s no Lucille who will always bug you, there’s no crazy girl who keeps on following you and most of all, There’s no Lucille who makes your life complicated. After this, that Lucille will never be a trouble. ”

                “Light, can you do me a favor?”

                “Whatever it is, I will” I don’t know, but my tears fall out of nowhere. I suddenly felt her bidding goodbye, and I hate this feeling.

                “Can I sleep in your arms now? Just now?”

                “Of course you can, even if it’s forever”

                “Thank you Light. I love you” he said and laid her head upon my shoulders. The moment she did this, I feel the warm wet in my shoulders- her tears.

                Slowly, her hands on mine was loosing. I have the feeling, but I don’t want the thought that bugs me.

                “Hey.” I poked her cheeks, but it didn’t work. I was in tears right now, but I don’t care. “You know what, I have this news which I’m sure will make you happy. You and I were not siblings. I have knew a while ago, that I’m just adopted by your father. I was the son of her mistress, but I’m not his son from her. He just adopted me after the fire that kills my mom and and my siblings. ”

                “See, great news right? Haha” I faked a laugh. “You’re unfair. Truly unfair. You keeps on saying you love me in front of many, but you didn’t even ask me, if I feel the same way towards you. ” in a moment, I have burst out of tears.  “I love you Lucille, I really do.”

                “I will be your greatest light, and you’ll be my only bright. So, together, we’re not a prince and princess in a once-upon-a-time that usually ends in a happy ever after. You’re the bright, and I’m the Light, therefore, we’re Bright Light”
