Also keep in mind: More than one person can apply for a role. If that happens, then it's a battle of the OC's y'all. Whoever creates the better OC wins the role.
SO DETAILS OR DIE. For those of you who will try to slack off and gimme no details, FORGET ABOUT IT. I want! Uniqueness! New types of characters! Not just your stereotypical zodiac personalities! Don't make Pisces a crybaby and don't make Libra your typical predictable peacelover who does nothing but resolve arguments boringly! Don't stand by the stereotypical zodiac genders either-don't make Pisces a girl and don't make Libra a girl! (I swear I see that so much ugh...) I WILL GET MAD IF THAT HAPPENS and y'know what just go to Darkblaze's profile, look at their comments on OCs, and translate that to me-speak. THAT'S WHAT I WANT OKAY NOTHING BORING OR FLAT LIKE A SLATE, I WANT! UNIQUENESS! MAKE ME GIGGLE CREEPILY WHILE READING YOUR FORMS! AND-

Basic line is: No. Stereotypes. You can have a little but too much and I'll yeet you out of this book. Sometimes it's nice but most of the times NO. This is part of the reason why I enjoyed doing a Chinese zodiac applyfic so much, BECAUSE THERE AIN'T NO STEREOTYPES FOR THE CHINESE ZODIACS FOR YOU TO STAND BY, MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA-
(I know some of you have trouble with creating a new zodiac OC that isn't completely based on stereotypes, which is why I gave you basically unlimited time. Also, being a VIP means you get semi-spared from my wrath if this does happen.)
(And, fun fact, I actually like the Capricorn, Aquarius, and Scorpio stereotypes, hehehehe...)
So I encourage you to try and apply for a role that ISN'T your zodiac sign.
