kayano, now with a scar along her neck and cheek, is walking past the memorial wall while using a hologram computer interface. She stops walking as she receives a message summoning her to the hangar bay, and with an annoyed look she dismisses the interface with a gesture and she scoffs and walks away.
byakuya: well it seems kayano has been in a few more fights
chihiro: i-i hope she's ok
kayano walks through the hangar bay toward sosuke as he is tinkering with a Strider.
sosuke: Come on. (groans) Just...
kayano stands before sosuke, grabs a tool and starts shifting it between her hands with a stern demeanour.
kayano: You know we got a sortie soon, right?
sosuke: Yeah, yeah.
kayano: You know it has to work, right?
sosuke turns toward kayano.
sosuke: Have I ever let you down?
kayano stares at sosuke and returns the tool before walking away.
sosuke: Hey don't, uh. Yeah, don't answer that. (sighs)
sosuke: hay ! I'm sure I'm great !
sao: (sarcastic) sure you little E class
(sao than finds himself flying though the air after mondo throws him though the air hitting the wall he than turns to the other big 4)
mondo: anyone else
(there was silence)
sosuke returns to tinkering.
sosuke: (mockingly) You know it has to work right?
kayano walks outside the hangar and stands waiting. hiroto walks in from behind her.
hiroto: Mornin', sunshine. You got time for some coffee before rounds?
kayano: Good morning to you too. And no. Apparently I've earned the distinct privilege of babysitting some rookies.
hiroto: (sighs) Lucky them. I would have given anything for a babysitter like you when I was a kid. Our babysitter was old Mrs. Langheinrich. (scoffs) What kind of crush is a 13 year old supposed to have on that?
