Dream's Pov

"Why don't you have your shoes on yet?! You're going to be late to the bus!" My mom was upset at me. I would think she deserves the right to be so. I was late.

So, maybe I was late for first day? Already. Ughhhh, I hated living as an insomniac. It messes up your mornings. No matter what I've tried, sleeping just doesn't come for me. I usually take maybe 4-5 hours to finally fall asleep. By then, it's almost 3am anyway, so I'm messed up at school the next morning. But I just have to keep going and live my life. That's what everyone else has to do. It's not like I'm any more spec-
"CLAY!"
I'm torn out of my thoughts when my friend calls out to me.

"Damn dude! I called you like 17 thousand times! What are you thinking about this time??"

"Sorry Nick, I was just...thinking." I said with a faint smile.

"You've got to loosen up more, Clay. Live your life to the fullest!! Come on, there's a football game tonight. I'll buy you a ticket if you want! Anything to get your ass out of your room..."

"Language!" I hear Darryl shout from across the bus hallway.

"Sorry! Jeez..." Nick rolls his eyes after looking back over to me and gives me a look as if to say 'this guy'.
I laugh at him and looked up as to rest my head to the top of the seat. When did I grow tall enough to do this? Whatever, I'm tall now I guess.

"Yeah, I'll go to the game tonight. As long as you buy me-"

"Yeah, I know what you want. You and your stupid fries." Nick cuts me off again.

"Hey! Fries aren't stupid! I love French fries!"

"No wonder, idiot! You're French yourself!" Nick yells back at Vincent who gives him a glare in return.

"Whatever dude" Vincent retorts "we'll talk about this later over lunch, but right now, I have my classes to get to. See you guys later." He hops off the bus and walks away, highfiving some of his other friends who drive themselves to school. I followed behind him knowing I have classes to not be late to. I wave goodbye to Nick and Darryl who are close behind me. I know I'll see them at lunch.
They wave back and I smile. When will I ever deserve such great friends.

Sorry for such a short chapter! I hope you guys like it tho. Idk if there was to much dialogue or if it was confusing, but there you have it.
