Sports.

Volleyball is a tall person sport. My phones on 10%.
Yes these are just sports I find fascinating.
I don't remember some last names so

Anne walked into her form room and sat down next to Anna.
"hey Anne, heard you joined the volleyball team."
Anne smiled, "yeah, and you joined hockey?" Anna nodded and showed the team list for both sports.
Girls volleyball:
-boleyn, anne
-*L.N*, Joan
- *L.N*,Maggie

There where a few more names but at the bottom of the list was a name Anne dreaded-

-Aragon, Catherine

Anne looked at the hockey team list:

Girls hockey:
-Cleaves, Anna
-Seymour, Jane
-Howard, catherine
-Parr, Katherine (believe it or not)
-*L.N* maria
-blount, Bessie (Spelling)
-boleyn, Mary
-west, Toby

"they spelt parr and Kat's names wrong." Anne giggled at the mistake in Parr's name but she complained about the mistake in kat's name.

"you've got a decent team, cleaves."
Anna smirked, "you too, boleyn."

Anne and Anna shook hands and played go fish with the pack if cards Anna brings in to play with in form and at lunch with the others.

At volleyball practice:

Anne looked around and sat on the bench 'their all so fucking tall. I'm 5'7 and I'm a midget compared to these giants'

"Annie, you look like a child next to everyone!" cath giggled at Anne and held her hand out to Anne.

"shut it lina."

Catherine's hand dropped to her side "lina?"
Anne's eyes widened
"Oh- shit- noI'msorryIdidn'tmeanto...

The spanish girl laughed,
"no need to apologise boleyn, I'm fine with the nickname just don't say that one around Cathy untill she can at least tolerate your presence."

Anne let out a sigh of relief and stood up to start the warm-ups for practice.

~half way through, practice game~

Anne missed the serve and tried to save it and fell on her face.
One of the taller popular girls looked down at Anne and laughed.
"fucking hell, boleyn, sutch an idiot! Try not to mess up for once!"

Catherine picked up the ball and slammed it over the net into the girls face, who fell over with a red mark on her face and a full print of her makeup printed on the ball like a face.

Anne, cath, Maggie and Joan laughed and did a quadruple high-five.

~hockey practice, start~

Anna sat down next to the others and looked at Cathy in surprise, "Catherine parr, Queen of the school, book nerd and a - as straight as a lesbian can get strait A student, playing the violent sport of hockey? Almost unbelievable."

Cathy turned sour and turned to face Kat.

"I'm doing it for Kitty. Why are you here cleaves?"

Anna laughed, "I enjoy the sport..... and because I'm to short to join volleyball."

Cathy sent a sour look to Anna "what's that supposed to mean cleaves? That I can't play volleyball because I'm 5 foot  fluppin 2!?"

Anna laughed and nooded, "well I'm 3rd tallest and I wasn't able to get into volleyball and Anne just made it on the team."

Cathy stared in disbelief, "Anne fucking boleyn playing a sport!?"

Kat laughed, "Cathy, it's equally surprising to you playing a sport as Anne playing one, you both seemed to hate sports before year 11."

Cathy smirked and kissed Kat before getting up and practicing for the first practice match.

"cleaves, you, me, goalie game."

Anna smirked and the pair set up for a 1 on 1 game of goalie.

~end of game~

"HOW DID YOU BEAT ME!? I'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR 3 YEARS! I'VE BEEN PLAYING SINCE YEAR 8 AND A MIDGET THAT'S ONLY BEEN PLAYING 5 MINUTES HAS BEATEN ME!?"

Kat went over to Cathy, who turned sour at the nickname of 'midget, and whispered something to her, "don't take it  personally Cathy, Anna is very  competitive and hates being beaten in a sports game."

Cathy nodded and walked over to the raging teen and stuck out her hand, "good game Anna, you almost won. You are a worthy competitor. And I've been playing since I was 8 I just played outside school"

Anna shook Cathy's hand, "yeah..
Good game parr." Anna replied in complete disbelief. 'she's been playing for years and she's only 5'2 how is she not taller!?' Anna silently questioned the blue Queen's height as she awkwardly smiled.

Cathy walked over to kat and sat down.

Anna looked around at the rest of the team and looked at the tallest on the team, "Maria!"

Maria looked up at Anna, "no."
She turned back to Bessie and continued their conversation.

"dammit!"

Jane stood up and walked over to Anna, "Anna cleaves, I challenge you to a 1 on 1 match!"

Anna smirked, "I'll go easy on ya,  seymour."

Jane scored a goal and smiled, "won't be necessary, I'm quite good."
Anna and Jane smiled at each other and began their match.

~Half way through~

The coach walked into the hall to  see Jane beating Anna at 1 on 1  hockey.

"what's going on?"

Maria stood up, "cleaves has been challenging random girls to a 1 on 1 game of hockey. Parr beat her and Jane is winning by miles so this is basically pointless for Anna.

A little while later Jane beat Anna, who smiled and didn't over react, and the pair played on teams. Cathy, Anna, Jane and kat on one team and maria, Bessie, Mary boleyn and Toby on the other.

Team1 won the match because they had Jane and cathy but, team2 lost by 5 points and they scored 5 points.

Team1- 10 points scored
Team2- 5 points scored

As far as I'm concerned it's not the end of spoopy month until the 5th of November (ayyyyeee bonfire night) But that's just me tbh
