Finally Forever

Author's pov

After Betty ran from the pops jug consoled her and tried to make her talk to Archie. But she keep on persisting of guilt and Ronnie.

And with Archie and Veronica, they've been good enough. She's trying to move on. Yeah, it would be hard yet she can't force Archie into a relationship he wouldn't want.

Archie's pov

I am sitting on my bed thinking that I was glad that Ronnie took it not very bad. She is such a understanding friend he could never have. I'm happy about it.

Although there's something that worries me.

What had Cheryl said was lingering in my mind through out the whole time. I couldn't stop wondering about it. I'm trying to shrug it off because I trust Jug.

What if Betty likes him? In a way Cheryl's right. They do spend all the time together. And what happened at pops was an enigma. Betty stared at me while she entered and she looked like she's being crying. Her nose was red and eyes we're puffy.

And I remember jug taking her hand and squeezing it. Suddenly a thought struck me. Maybe, they're trying to say that they are dating. Omg! I felt sore.

I walked to my window and undo the shutters. I bent down to look at Betty's window.

There I saw jug hugging Betty rubbing her back in a way of comforting her. What the heck!?

'That's true' I sadly thought and closed my shutters again.

When will I get to hold her in my arms like that? I sighed.

If Betty likes jug and he likes her back then I should not interfere in between them.

Next day at school,

"Jug, you don't understand. When I look at Archie all I could feel is guilt. And V what am I supposed to tell her?" groaned Betty.

"All that guilt will be gone once you confess to him betts. I bet you. And Ronnie I hope she understands 'cause we can't force a relation between them when Archie doesn't like her that way." Whined Jughead.

"God juggie! Why are you so determined to get us together anyway?"

"Well, I don't want to see my friend gloomy. If I could make him happy in any way I wouldn't hesitate"

"He's lucky to have a friend like you juggie" Smiled Betty.

He smiled back.

"Okay back to topic" Said jug.

Betty groaned.

Archie and Veronica just arrived smiling. Betty looked at them and got startled. Her heart skipped a bit.

She perked up grabbing her stuff and was about to leave when jug grasped her hand.

Archie and Ronnie looking at them dazed. And Archie's eyes blooming with jealousy.

Betty looked at jug pleadingly and departed thier hand and walked off of the room.

The three of them looked after her with different expressions.

Archie and Ronnie made thier way to Jughead.

"So jug, when are you going to open up?" Asked Veronica.

"I beg your pardon?" Said jug politely.

"Oh don't play dumb juggy" She pressed the word juggy
