"Ah! There you two are!" a ash blonde male with bright red wings said at he turned around to look at Tokoyami and Dabi. "What is so important my prince?" asked Tokoyami while Dabi just sighed. "well I was thinking we could go on a little adventure!" Keigo said while his wings flapped in exactment. "WHAT!?" Tokoyami screeched as the feathers on his head puffed up. "That is way too dangerous! You are the prince of the feather folk! You have to stay here! You will be our next king Keigo!" Dabi looked at the young raven male then at his childhood friend. "Toyoyami does have a point. I've known you since we were like six, you are just planning on either killing a dragonborn or doing something so stupid you might get us killed or some random woman pregnant." "I'm not that big of a play boy!" Keigo said trying to keep his good name. Dabi rolled his eyes knowing how much of a flirt the prince was. Keigo sighed, "How about just a small adventure? I do kinda want to get out of the kingdom for a bit, and you both know the outer world better than me, so I thought we could go together?" He looked at his two friends with a sad look on his face. 'He does have a point.' Dabi thought. He sighed, "Alright, but if we come across a high elf or dragonborn we don't kill them, got it Keigo?" Tokoyami looked at Dabi in disbelief while Keigo smiled like a child on Christmas morning. "But the palace!" "Don't worry Toko! My father will protect it. He is the king after all, let's go get packed!" Keigo took off into the air and flew off. Tokoyami sighed and headed to his own home while Dabi smiled before going to go pack for their little adventure.
~In the kingdom of the dragonborn~
"WHAT!?" Y/N yelled as she looked at her blue haired friend as she packed a bag. "(Y/N), if you are so worried about me then just come with me, I have to do this if I want to be the next dragonborn queen, you heard to doctor, my father is dying, so I have to take his place." Kaida said as she finished up her packing. Every dragonborn prince/princess have to go on a quest to find an angel's gem to be the next king/queen. Y/N looked down. "But what if you run into a demon?" She then shot her head up with fear in her eyes. "Or feather folk!? They would surly kill you!" Kaida sighed. "Like I said, come with me, it didn't say that I hade to do the quest by myself." She looked at the (h/c) haired high elf. Y/N sighed then looked out the window at the kingdom. "Alright let me get packed." She left the room to go pack of her new quest.
~Time skip to the next day brought by me being lazy and not knowing what to type~
Y/N and Kaida were resting by a stream after a few hours of flying. Kaida was looking up at the purple leaved trees above the two women. "I wonder where the gem will be...." Y/N said as she ate an apple that she had got. "It could be anywhere, but we will find it, dragonborn and high elves are connected to the gems remember?" Kaida said as she transformed into a sliver, white and light blue dragon with a moon symbol on her chest. "True" Y/N said as she got on her dragon friend's back continuing their quest. 'Maybe I'll find my lover on this quest!' Y/N thought as the wind blew through her hair.
Little did the two women know that they would end up making new friends with the enemy.
