The woodpecker says

I'm trying to pay respects

To a season here at last

Summer has come to pass
Knock, knock, knock,
They come knocking on my door
Knock, knock, knock,
I can't take it any more
Knock, knock, knock,
Could you, instead, sing
Knock, knock, knock,
On this lovely evening
Knock, knock, knock,
they take insult and knock
Knock, knock, knock,
Knock, knock, knock.
