<Near the center of the Woods>The pure-black pelted wolf walked along the forest, following a sandy path. "Zolach! Mask?!" He called out. He could hear his father yelling out his sibling's names, too. Oh, where could they be? He thought as he padded further into the forest, in search for his lost brothers. When he had stopped in his tracks to catch Zolach's scent one of his younger brothers, his father appeared right behind him. Probably out of a bush or a tree.. "Midnight, have you found anything?.. Anything, that can help us find them?"
Midnight nodded. "I think I have, Maze. Look," He pointed with his nose to the paw prints that lead to something ahead of them, the dirt was slightly wet, and red. Maze's red eyes glowed slightly as he studied the path ahead. Midnight partly wished that Maze knew this part of the forest just as well as nearly every other maze he had heard of. Then, they would have found Zolach and Mask quicker.. "Probably bloodied earth..." Maze murmured.
"Zolach's scent is here too. If he went that way, then maybe Mask did aswell. Just.. Maybe he came along a different way or something." He said. His father stared at him, digesting what Midnight was thinking of.
Before long, Maze dipped his head in response as he turned his head to the path they both would soon end up following. "Very well. Let's go, and quickly. We don't have all night." He told his son. Midnight got up from his crouching position, giving his father a quick glare before following him, deeper into the woods.______

>Glimmering Wood's
<Dach's Wooden Cottage>Midlight, a two-tailed, black-and-white, red-eyed wolf was lying down on her nest, peering through a window... Or.. just a square-shaped-hole drilled through wood. No difference, at least to her. About nine months ago, she had left her family to come live in the Woods of Chandara, and a lot of things have happened. Midlight inhaled and exhaled, happy and calm.
Beside her was a sleeping, light-yellow, dog..rabbit-like creature. The smaller and younger canine went along by the name of Exia. She was sleeping peacefully beside Midlight, but that was no surprise. The canine did see her as a parental figure after Exia's elder sister; Scotty, was killed in a battle, defending Exia and their friends. Back then, Exia was named Mystic. She was afraid ever since, and still is. She lived with Dach, a male black and white pelted creature who seemed to be of a similar species as Exia, but Scotty's mate. The wolf nudged Exia gently, causing the young canine to open and reveal her blue and red eyes."What?" Exia asked drowsily, refusing to get up. "Look." Midlight whispered, turning her gaze back to the window. The sky, no longer warm-colored had turned to a dark blue and black sprayed with purple. Asteroids, or 'Shooting Stars' (or maybe even Meteor Shower) dashed and faded along the night sky.
Exia got up stretching. Yawning, she turned around and rested her head on the wood before the window, only to suddenly jolt up, surprised by the sight. "You forgot?" Midlight mused.
"Yeaah."
Midlight grinned for a bit. "We all have those times." She replied gently, as she turned her head to the flinging stars. Neither of them said a word. For now, they would enjoy their time while they still had it...Tomorrow, was going to be a busy day, after all.
