Confused Love

White Fire

Normal POV

"Natsu!" Lucy called his name from the request board getting his attention as he walked over to her. "How about this one?" she asked handing over the request.

The flier read;
Bandits have been attacking my village and messages were left behind with everyone person they took. We urgently request your help to save my village Hikari.
Reward: 200,000

"Sounds fun! I can beat up some bad guys" Natsu cheered which meant he accepted the decision. "Do you want to leave now? It is only a 1 hour train ride" she suggest as they both left to collect their things to then meet up at the station.

As Lucy arrived at the station with her bag of luggage she sat down waiting for Natsu to arrive. She sat there alone as the day wasn't as busy than usual, her mind wondered off to the thought of that nightmare that continued to haunt her.

"Why did I have that dream? Is it just a nightmare? Or something planned to happen?" she thought in her mind, staring blank to the outside world until she heard a certain voice.

" Fate will bring you too me, you are destine to see your love one be punished, tortured, bleed" Lucy head flick left and right, she didn't know where that voice was coming from but she knew this wasn't the first time hearing this.

"Who are you?!" she whispered to herself, hoping that this was the time to speak. "I didn't ask you to speak did i? You will be punish for that.....my dear, dear little lamb" the mysterious voice faded for her head the very moment the foot step and flutter of wings came from her left, it was Natsu and Happy,

"LUCY!! SORRY WE'RE LATE!" he shouted, Lucy stood up from where she was and smiled. "Eh..Lushie you okay?" Happy asked a little taken back from the sudden smile. "Yep!..Lets go!" she enthusiastic said running into the train that just arrived. "Is she okay?" Natsu whispered into Happy's ears. "I don't know" he answered as Lucy called them over.

"Do we serious have to catch the train" Natsu complained, walking sluggishly over with Happy. Lucy grabbed his hand and called Happy "Come on, I will treat you to a meal once we get there!".

As they were seated on the train, it had started to leave making the dragon slayer sick. "Aghh... I don't feel so...good" he muttered holding back his food, Lucy just giggled from his reaction before as she leaned against the window. After ten minutes of silence, Natsu continued to complain now and then, Happy had taken a nap followed by Lucy.

Lucy's Dream (Normal POV)
"The power of light is destine for you, with a heart so pure it is curse to be attacked by evil.. Let me not give, but release the power you obtain for that is like a bright star. Gold is light and pure, but white is clean and at its finest the purest power to beat the darkness. The lock has been waiting to be broken, and the only way to break it is from within your heart. You are getting this message now as there will be a time to use it....but the question is, "Will your heart admit it?" The unknown voice echoes throughout the blank space Lucy stood it.

However it wasn't the mysterious one that haunted her, it was a familiar feminie voice that sooth her heart....it was her mother.

"What do you mean Mama?" Lucy spoke outloud waiting for an answer.

"I wanted to tell you about this power as it can be only understood when you are older, which you are now. However I can't tell you how to unlock it as it won't work that way. The only thing I can tell you is that listen to your heart, even if you're confused by it you will soon learn to understand it. I love you with all my heart my dearest Lucy" her mother's voice faded away as Lucy shed a tear, she wasn't sad but happy to hear the voice she listen to when growing up.
